Button Effects

• Toons — Homestar's robe catches fire.
• Games — A burninated peasant sprite emerges from the cottage while music from TROGDOR! plays.
• Characters — Trogdor pokes his snout in and roars. Part of Homestar's robe and his cheeks ripple from the force of his breath.
• Downloads — Strong Bad runs by while Trogdor, in a more detailed art style using photography and 3D rendering, chases him. Strong Bad yells, "Somebody get this freakin' duck away from me!"
• Store — Rather Dashing walks up, produces a baby from his inventory, and throws it offscreen, while the "gain points" sound from Peasant's Quest plays. If the cursor remains over the button long enough, a text box pops up reading:

>You throw the baby offscreen. It is quickly adopted and raised by the "downloads" button who doesn't really have a whole lot going on these days anyway.

• E-mail — Strong Sad runs by wearing burninated peasant robes, saying, "I'm sad that I'm frying."

• The "downloads" button "not having a whole lot going on these days" references how the Downloads section has not been updated since January 2004.

• This main page was released on Trogday 2021, over 10 years since the previous main page, as Strong Bad acknowledged on Twitter.

Remarks

• Homestar Runner does not blink on this main page due to his eyes not being animated as a movie clip like they usually are.
• The baby tossed by Rather Dashing lands near the Characters button.
• As with Main Page 26, this main page does not feature the metallic sheen style introduced with Main Page 24.

Goofs

• Homestar's cheek ripple effect overlaps onto his mouth if it is open all the way.

Inside References

• Several elements on the page directly call back to other main pages:
  • Homestar's head catches fire, similarly to Tofu Homestar in the Luau Main Page.
  • Strong Bad's line about freaking ducks is reused from Main Page 13 where he was chased by the Atari Dragon.
  • "I'm sad that I'm frying" is a play on "I'm sad that I'm flying" from Main Page 15.
