{Open to Strong Bad's glove against the usual paper background, with just a beat playing in the background}
STRONG BAD: Sensitive viewers may wish to look away. Because on this week's {title appears} Skills of an Artist, we're going to draw: LARGE BEAN!
{Dramatic music sting}
STRONG BAD: I make drawing... legumes!
{Second music sting. The background music changes to Large Bean's theme.}
STRONG BAD: Alright. Let's go. Start with a chubby crescent moon. {starts drawing a bean shape} Rrrrrr, chub it out. Oh, that's a chubby crescent moon. And now we do this epicotyledon... there... {draws concentric rings at the midpoint of the bean} you know? Earth science? Okay, and now, for his terrorizing arms, we do a little inverted seventies mom hair... {draws a curved line out from the bottom of the bean} 'Kay, and over here, another one— {draws a mirroring curved line on the other side} seventies mom hair. Look at that, she's goin' out... on a night on a town. {draws curved lines back from the first two, creating the look of two upraised tentacle arms} Rrrrt, come bring it back in. Rrrrt. And now, Large Bean only buys thrift store dress shirts! {draws curved lines for the sides of the shirt} So let's bring it down here on the side... And he doesn't tuck them in! So we're gonna do a fishtail-fishmouth. {closes off the bottom of the shirt with an upward-arrow} Look at that. Look at that. And now, consummate. {draws two v-shapes from the bottom of the bean to resemble a shirt collar} Consummate. {adds three buttons with a "doot-doot-doot" sound} And, upside-down house. {draws a quick hexagonal pocket on the left side of the shirt, adding a line for the hem} For the pocket. Oh man. This bean is so large! He looms so large!
STRONG BAD: Alright, and now, as he creeps toward you— {draws an angular left leg bent sharply at the knee, sticking out in a bizarre direction from the shirt} look at this, he's creepin' so hard... {adds a foot and makes a sound, then draws a similarly-bent right leg} And these... {fills the legs in with black} black slacks that he actually got... at a department store! He spent more money on these slacks than he did on the shirt! Large Bean!
{Dramatic music sting; the music changes back to the normal Skills of an Artist theme}
HOMESTAR RUNNER: {offscreen} Aw, would you look at that? Teeny Beanie Weeny is jumpin' for joy! Like he just won a new car commercial!
{The Skills of an Artist theme and Large Bean's theme alternate as Homestar and Strong Bad speak}
STRONG BAD: No he's not! He's menacing some... innocent... coeds!
HOMESTAR RUNNER: No no, Strong Bad. That right there is a joyous bean.
STRONG BAD: Oh, I'll show you joyous bean! Just look at what's sitting right next to him. {draws the outline of an object right of Large Bean, with a round top and flat bottoms} Oh, you guys, you won't even believe it. {adds an edge, then a handle} It's one o' those old-timey suitcases! {adds various shaped stickers to the sides of the suitcase} With the travel stickers on it!
{Dramatic music sting}
STRONG BAD: Oh man! Large Bean! You leave Des Moines alone! Stay out of the Wisconsin Dells! {draws a tag sticking out of the side of the suitcase over Homestar's line}
HOMESTAR RUNNER: I dunno, man. Looks like a joyous bean to me.

- An epicotyl is the stem of a germinating plant. A cotyledon is the part of the seed that will develop into the plant's first leaf. Bean plants usually undergo epigeal germination.
