STRONG BAD: Hey, Derek. Not much, man. Yeah I can play the guitar. I know all about virtuosos {pause} and trembalos {pause} and arpeggios. {says it as "ar-PEG-ios, then pauses} I can do it all. {clears screen} I can play your basic rhythm guitar, like... {singing} jug jigga jug jigga jug jigga jug jigga jug jigga JAH JAH, jiggidy jug jigga jug jigga jug jigga jug jigga jug jigga JAH JAAH! {stops singing} You know, something like that. I can also play some pretty hott lixx, too. You know the kind that are just way up high on the tiny strings and you mash your fingers on 'em. {screen clears. Strong Bad starts singing} meedley meedley meedley meedley meedley meedley meedley meedley meedley meedley meedley meedley MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. {stops singing, starts typing faster} Yeah, yeah and then Strong Mad comes in on his bass and he's like, {singing} dou dow da dou da da DOU da dou da dou dou dou {screen clears. Strong Bad stops singing} and The Cheat comes in on his keyboards and he's like boop boop boop boop boop boop boop boop boop boop boop boop boop boo and then I'm like "And the dragon comes in the NIIIiiiiIIIiiiiIIIIIIIIiiiiiiiiiiiIIIIIIIIiiiIIGGHH—
{Strong Bad falls out of his chair.}
STRONG BAD: Augh... Oh yeah!
{Strong Bad sticks up his arm up from the bottom of the screen and lights the BMW lighter as people do at rock concerts. The Paper comes down. After a short time, the lighter singes The Paper.}

Explanations
- "Arpeggio" literally means "like a harp". The term is used to indicate that the notes of a certain chord are to be played quickly one after another (usually from lowest to highest) instead of at the same moment.
- "Trembalo" is not a proper musical term. Strong Bad is referring to a "tremolo". A tremolo is a rapid repetition of the same note, or an alternation between two or more notes.
- A "virtuoso" is a person who is exceptionally good at playing a musical instrument.
- A "lick" (that Strong Bad refers to when he says "hott lixx" - "hot licks", phonetically) is a short passage of notes that comprises a solo or riff, commonly for guitar in a rock setting.

Goofs
- The number of "jug jigga"s and "meedley"s typed does not match up to the number of "jug jigga"s and "meedley"s Strong Bad sings.
- Between "bass" and "and", there are two spaces.
- Before Strong Bad starts typing the meedlies and the juggas, there is no sound when he switches the screen.
- Strong Bad starts typing "NIIIiiiiIIIiiiiIIIIIIIIiiiiiiiiiiiIIIIIIIIiiiIIGGHH" about a second before he starts singing it.
- When Strong Bad types "virtuosos", there is a period in the cursor. When Strong Bad hits enter, the period is gone.
Fast Forward
- "And the dragon comes in the night" is used again as "And the Trogdor comes in the night" in the Trogdor song in dragon and Trogdor in Strong Bad's CD, Strong Bad Sings and Other Type Hits.
- This phrase is further referenced at the end of the Peasant's Quest Movie Trailer.
- The word "meedley" is also used to describe one of the "wicked dueling guitar solos" in Trogdor.

- In the paper, Strong Bad ignites The Paper with his BMW Lighter and then sings, "And The Paper goeth into the niiIIiiIIiiIIght!"
- The "meedley" line is reused in Baddest of the Bands Teen Girl Squad Meets Limozeen, but some other lyrics are added.
- In Dangeresque Roomisode 1: Behind the Dangerdesque, Dangeresque exclaims, "And the Kung-Fu Dragon Chinese Takeout comes in the niiiight! (they're open late)".

MIKE: This email is titled Guitar.
MATT: It's near and dear to our hearts.
MIKE: We grew up reading Guitar for the Practicing Musician and Guitar World and Metal Edge, and um...
MATT: Or rather, our brother Donnie read all of them.
MIKE: {simultaneously} Hit Parade, Circus Magazine...
MATT: Kerrang!.
MIKE: Yeah.
MATT: {simultaneously} RIP. Remember the RIP?
MIKE: I think that's, that's all of them. That's so, yeah, we um... {short pause} we knew all about virtuosos and arpeggios.
{Matt laughs}
MIKE: And trembolos. I took guitar in 8th grade. I didn't, I was never very good, though.
MATT: Yeah. This one goes out to all those dudes that lurk around the guitar shop and won't go away, and all I want to do is buy some strings and maybe a pick and they make
MIKE: They make—
MATT: —me feel really intimidated and want to leave. So now, it seems like this actually appealed to- we got a lot of, it seemed to get circulated over- among, like, tab sites and sites that like guitar.
MIKE: Tab and, like, Diet Coke and—
MATT: Tablatures, Mike!
MIKE: Oh, oh, oh!
MATT: It's a term!

- Guitar World, Metal Edge, Kerrang!, RIP and Circus Magazine are (or were) all music magazines. Hit Parade possibly refers to Hit Parader.
- Tab was the first diet soda produced by the Coca-Cola Company.
- Guitar Tablature is a shorthand method of writing out music for the guitar, which specifies fingering but not specific pitch or length of notes.
