CRUSH THE CHEAT COMMANDOS?

The Blue Laser Commander (usually referred to simply as Blue Laser) is the evil mastermind behind Blue Laser, an evil terrorist-type organization. His sworn enemies are the Cheat Commandos. (Despite this, he still invited them to dinner in Let us give TANKS!, and played video games with them in Cheat Commandos: Two Part Episode: Part 1.) He formulates many evil schemes in a constant attempt to crush the Cheat Commandos, to no avail. He has a high-pitched, screechy voice (provided by the Guy Who Does The Bad Guy's Voice). The only differences between his uniform and that of his minions are that his patches are red while the minions' patches are blue, and that he lacks a visor. He instead has an eye patch, due to some kind of deformity in his skull. It switches sides whenever he turns around, mimicking the mirrored animation used in many 1980s cartoons, due to limited budgets.

He is well disposed to extreme exclamations of joy or frustration, to wit: "FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC!", "Well, that's just GREAT!!", "I JUST HATE YOU SO MUCH!", "WHAT THE CRAP?!?!", "Old ladies SUCK!", and "THE MERE SIGHT OF YOU MAKES ME WANT TO RETCH!"

Blue Laser Commander is a parody of Cobra Commander (as the Cheat Commandos series parodies G.I. Joe), in particular the following traits:

  • A uniform similar to that of his henchmen, but with additional distinguishing elements
  • A distinctive, screechy voice
  • Volatile, psychotic temperament

According to one Sketchbook update, Blue Laser Commander (or possibly every member of Blue Laser) was originally going to be an Ungurait, but that idea was abandoned.

The Blue Laser Commander is one of the Cheat Commandos featured in the first Cheat Commandos figurine set.

According to the Toon Cheat Commandos: Two Part Episode: Part 2, Blue Laser Commander's middle name is revealed to be "Evil Scheme", which he claims is Slovenian.
