{Fade in the Basement of the Brothers Strong. The projector screen comes down and the lights dim. When the projector turns on, Strong Bad stands in front of it.}

STRONG BAD: Since only one of us dressed up for Halloween this year, {an image of Homestar Runner in his Impressive Clergyman costume flies onto the screen} it's only fitting that I just look at one fanstume. {The image of Homestar flies out of frame} But don't worry. {pumps fists} It's gonna be a deep dive into that one fanstume. And the only thing that's better than deep dives is a musical deep dive!

{Strong Bad leaps out of the scene as music begins to play. Title card reads "Fanstume [singular] 2024".}

DANGERESQUE: {low quality} Oh, check me out, I'm Stoplight Head! Disruptor of traffic patterns! Bane of the DOT!

{The Compy disappears. The photo is animated to dance.}

STRONG BAD: {singing} It's a perfect combination {the photo dances} of obscure refer-ation! And half-decent costume fabrication!

{Rave lights spin around. Close up on the photo.}

STRONG BAD: Put a file folder box on your head!

STRONG BAD: That you painted yellow, black, green and red! Next time, if you don't mind, may I suggest—

STRONG BAD: Use colored construction paper {the papers fold and markers draw on the photo} instead of this scribble mess!

STRONG BAD: {rapping} Oh, it's time to talk about the gloves! {disembodied boxing gloves appear on screen} The mitts, {Coach Z hands appear}, the paws, {two The Cheat arms appear} meat hooks! {Two Strong Mad hands appear on the photo, then all disappear} At first glance it's fine, {splits into two photographs} but you take a second look, {A question mark appears on one of the "gloves", which is not a glove} What the crap? What the crap? {Zoom in and rotate} Are you just holding a couple of red baseball caps?

{Record needle scratches.}

{The lights dim, and two candles appear with a boxing glove on a metal tray.}

STRONG BAD: {singing} Now, if you don't have boxing gloves at home, I understand. {The boxing glove stands up} It's not the kind of thing a lot of people have {glove lays down} laying around.

{The candles and dish disappear.}

STRONG BAD: {singing} But there are so many things that are red and round {such as, a red balloon, a red bowling ball, an apple, a tomato, a red globe, and another fruit. These disappear and replace the hats on the photo, ending on the globes} That you probably had at hand!

{Cut to a Teen Girl Squad drawing of the Fanstumer Schooner sailing toward an island with two red baseball caps. In the corner it reads "Here be wagons"}

STRONG BAD: {singing} Yet the siren song of two red baseball caps {hearts and notes appear on the island} crashed your fanstume ship into land!

{The panel shows the boat crashing into the island, reading "rather dashed!!". The hats fall on the costume's hands.}

STRONG BAD: {singing} Like the rocky shoals... dashed it apart. {The costume says "This is a highly acceptable substitute!"} Made you... pick something stupid...

{Cut to the photograph and fade out.}

{Fade back in.}

STRONG BAD: {singing} But wait! Everybody hold on! {A magnifying glass cursor appears} Let's zoom in now!

{A box encloses one of the hats and zooms in.}

STRONG BAD: {singing} 'Cause maybe I was wrong! {music cuts} The hat looks kinda blurry. {musical sting as the image becomes blurry} Maybe you were in a hurry! {the photograph dashes in and out. An animated sun appears} But it's so bright and the sun is up! {a camera viewer appears and takes a shot} I'm sure the camera shutter was fast enough! So why does it look like that? Why the crap is it a baseball hat?

{Fade out. Pop back in.}

STRONG BAD: {singing} wait! {Oh-oh-dang appears} Oh-oh dang! Is this some photoshop?

{Cut to a picture of a baseball card of glen w/ grape and Ilko Skevüld's ID wearing red baseball hats. A cursor isolates the hats.}

STRONG BAD: {singing} It looks like multiple pictures of different angles of hats that you had to crop!

{Photograph fades in.}

STRONG BAD: {singing} I appreciate the effort, {a severed soolnd with a bone sticking out appears} but there's an elephant foot in the room! And that's if you're gonna photoshop, why didn't you just use...

{The soolnd dances and then jumps out of frame.}

STRONG BAD: {imitating the drum fill that plays at the same time} Boodle-a boodle-a, blap-um blap-um!
