Originally located at its own URL, "videlectrix.com", it has been moved to the main website at "homestarrunner.com/videlectrix". Between October and November 2019, the domain name "videlectrix.com" expired, and was briefly owned by squatters. Several pages, including the Games menu, still contained links to that site during this time. The domain now consists of a frame that shows the homestarrunner.com version of the website. "We use computers... to make video games!"
Videlectrix.com is the website for fictional video game company Videlectrix. In addition to making many of the Homestar Runner games, the Videlectrix site includes several additional unique games — many of which with no connection at all to Homestar Runner. Videlectrix games are intentionally out-of-date, presented in the style of the Atari 2600, Nintendo Entertainment System, Apple IIe, or LCD handhelds.
The site launched with only the catalog and demos. Gallery and music sections were added later, with Wii versions of games added during the lead-up to Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People.
The website has not been updated since 2009. Videlectrix.com has effectively been superseded by the Videlectrix itch.io page, which has been consistently updated with games released well into the 2020s.

Page Title: Videlectrix Home - Home of our Videlectrix!!
The main page of videlectrix.com features a short message from the Videlectrix staff, promoting a recent release or providing an update on forthcoming games. New updates simply replaced the prior text (and image, if applicable); there is no archive or news feed saving prior posts. No new messages have been posted since April of 2009.
Older posts were simply accompanied by an image of the Videlectrix offices. Beginning with the April 10, 2008 post, new and unique images were featured with each post on the main page. The homepage has always featured the main headline:
>Welcome to the Videlectrix Webpage!

>Oh and hey! Maybe we'll make another Roomisode!

The December 1 update also featured a promotional link to the Telltale Games site. When moused over, the image of Strong Bad was defaced and labeled "DUMB!"

Game Catalog
Page Title: Game Catalog - Catalogs of our games!!
Two stacks of Atari 2600 cartridges surround an old television. Clicking on a game shows a screenshot of it on the TV, along with a brief text description. The games shown here are a mixture of homestarrunner.com games, videlectrix.com games, wholly fictional games that cannot be played, and commercially-available third-party games.
- Dangeresque — Roomisodic gaming makes its debut with Strong Bad's secret detective-for-hire action hero: Dangeresque! Point and Click your way to adventure but don't forget the Arrow Keys!
- Stinkoman 20X6 — Blue hair, anyone? Stinkoman's always got fightings and challenges to keep him busy. Jump and shoot your way to all ends of Planet K. End Boss feature!!
- Hallrunner! — Sprint down halls as if you were some type of madman. What could be better? Watch out for the bugs or tentacles, though! They can hurt! Ouchy! Fun for several!
- Shploitz! — Scoring big is the name of the game (not really, it's actually called Shploitz!) in this a-maze-ing game. Don't get lost though, because when the lights go out -SHPLOITZ! - the exits have changed and so has your position in the maze. Shploitz! This game is nearly impossible.(Not really!)
- Pigs on Head — Hey pard'ner, what's that on your head? In this zany new game, it's pigs stacked high to the heavens. But be careful, one false movesends these curly-tailed oinkers tumbling to the ground!
- 50k Racewalk — Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Right... OOPS!!! You lose!! Alternate left right for about 5 hours without messing up and you could win the gold!!
- Trogdor — The beefy armed dragon has had it up to here with those pesky peasants. Achieve burnination and watch the countryside go up in flames.
- Planet Alert — Attention planet citizens... Planet, Alert! A stray planet is on a collision course with your stray planet!! Help evacuate shopping malls and nursing homes while keeping the populace from rioting. Looters beware in this futuristic funventure.
- Sundae Drivin — Pilot an ice cream bowl through the streets of Dessertville collecting chopped nuts, chocolate syrup, and cherries. But look out for 18-wheelers and motorhomes and some regular sized cars, too!
- Where's An Egg? — In this hard-bolied adventure game, you must help the Boise police force find a missing egg. Not in Mancuso's garage? Try Brodermaker's gymbag. Everyone's a suspect when 'Where's an Egg?' is the game that you are playing. And that's this game!!
- SBCG4AP — YOU ARE Strong Bad in this point-and-click-em-up adventure from Videlectrix and Telltale Games (they bought us lunch even!) of the WiiWare for the Wii in your house.
- Thy Dungeonman 3 — No man slays dungeons quite like the Thy Dungeonman from the Thy Dungeonman computer game series. Hi-res graphics improve on the no-res graphics from the previous text-onlyventures. Get ye flask, fool!
- Peasant's Quest — Control a short-panted 'peasant' named Rather Dashing as he stumbles through Peasantry in his 'quest' to get revenge on a dragon thing.
- Salad Daze — Lettuce tell you about this game. HA! Get it? Finding all the ingredients to a delicious salad can be tricky... especially when things that don't belong, like sneakers and robots, try to confuse you. Bon appetit!
- King Dingo — A giant wild dog has kidnapped your mother-in-law. Wifey won't cook dinner until mother is safe. Explore the outback in this exotic adventure that boils down to winning or not having dinner!!
- Awexome Cross — You control a little yellow dog-thing stuffed inside a tire in this sidescroller. Get to the end and a trophy could be yours.
- Kid Speedy — Who's faster than Kid Speedy? EVERYBODY!! This little fatso is the slowest poke in the bunch. Try not to get dead last while avoiding sweets and insults in this hilarious arcade-style race 'em up.
- QWERTY — Never thought you could learn anything playing electronic home video game systems? Think again! Learn to type on a computer keyboard with this educational game that will prepare the entire family for tomorrow's future.
- Spaceshipper — Fiendish lasers threaten to destroy the solar system! Explosions are taking over the galaxy!! It's Memorial Day and YOU were the only Spaceshipper who didn't have plans. Pilot your StarZoom to freedom! And time and a half!!
- Secret Collect. — The greatest secrets man has ever known have been scattered all over the globe and its your job to find them.
Game Demos
Page Title: Game Demos - Demos of our games!!
Clicking on a box opens the game in a new window. These games are fully playable, not truncated demos as the in-universe title would imply. Initially exclusive to the Videlectrix site, these seven games were added to the Scrolling Shooter Games Menu on December 31, 2020.

Easter Eggs
Not short for Ronginald!
- Clicking on the blow up reading "starring the popular RON PLANET!" while viewing the Duck Guardian 2 box links to Ron Planet, a webcomic side project by Craig Zobel and Matt Chapman.
- The mp3 file for Stinkoman Level 1 Theme has a description that reads "00000605 0000010F 000027AE 0000116E 00007E53 000074BC 00005EF8 00007053 00003C68 000065F0". It is unknown if this is an intended Easter egg, code, or if it has any meaning.
Fun Facts
Explanations
- A D-pad is a common directional control on video gamepads, typically containing four directions (up, down, left, right).
Remarks
- "Utilise" is spelled with the Commonwealth English variation, rather than the American "utilize".
- The quote "award winning artists such as: our art department" could be a reference to games from the Atari era in which employees remained nameless.
Trivia
- The metadata for all three Stinkoman tunes lists "Homestar Runner" as the artist.
Glitches
- On the Game Catalog page, sometimes clicking on Dangeresque will result in a screenshot of Stinkoman 20X6 appearing on the television with the "Stinkoman 20X6" title at the top of the page, alongside a random game's description. If this occurs, clicking on Dangeresque again will result in the proper title, screenshot and description loading.
- If the TROGDOR! game in the catalog is clicked when it is already on the screen, the Secret Collect game description is shown.
Inside References
- Many things written by Videlectrix (such as ingame text or website descriptions) feature incorrect English grammar and spelling due to bad translations, despite the fact the Videlectrix team have been shown to be fluent in English.
- "Excellents in video gaming" incorrectly uses a homophone for "excellence".
- Videlectrix is said to be "all the time" working on developing new games.
- "Videlectricks" is a portmanteau.
- The "Remote Controller Video Game System" is said to work with Laserdisc remotes.
- Kid Speedy v1.NEW is described as having "quality styles".
- Eating a lot of Skittles to affect one's spit was previously mentioned in slumber party.
- The games in the catalog are presented as stacks of Atari 2600 cartridges.
- The catalog listing for Awexome Cross refers to The Cheat as a "yellow dog-thing". He was previously called a "yellow dog" in army, a name later repeated in Cheat Commandos.
- Kid Speedy is categorized as a race 'em up.
Fast Forward
- Stinkoman 20X6 is described as "good-great", a term that would later be used in No Hands On Deck! and the Dangeresque: The Roomisode Triungulate Trailer.
- Additional roomisodes would be released by Videlectrix in 2023, over 14 years after the main page post suggesting they could be made.
