King of Town Eats Drumstick

{Music plays. There is a time lapse of the Mario Paint animation process. Cut to a screen with four frames. Frames from the previous Mario Paint Thursday are briefly shown, with Strong Bad's glove and mouth. The drawings are cleared, and frames of The King of Town's mustache chewing are drawn. Food crumbs and drool are added. Then the screen switches to one frame, and the rest of The King of Town is drawn. Black spots are added to the white lining of his robe. A castle background is drawn behind the King of Town, and a bitten chicken leg in front of him. The King of Town's animated mustache is added, and moved around for a bit.}

THE KING OF TOWN: {voiceover; singing} Ohhh, here I go... I am going to make my mustache! I'm gonna eat some foood! Over and over agaaain! It's the KOT! Fat as can be! Sittin' in my C-A-S-T-L-E!

Fun Facts

General

• The YouTube description for this compilation is "For a while there, short animations made with Mario Paint for SNES were posted every Thursday to the social mediums (until the SNES mouse broke and the replacements ordered from ebay were in even worse shape). Here they are all at once!"

Ooh Lips

• The homework sheet is in a similar style to the one at the end of death metal, as well as the Homestar Quiz.
• "Baby, you got a stew going" is a reference to a line from Arrested Development that Bubs previously referenced in Halloween Potion-ma-jig.

Melonade and Bronco Trolley

• This video references Bronco Trolleys (which come from the game of the same name) and melonade, two foods that were mostly mentioned in the early days of the site.

Pom Pom's House on a Cliff by the Sea

• Pom Pom's house appears to be modeled after the Futuro style of prefabricated houses produced in the 1960s and 1970s.
