The Sad Kids (a boy and a girl) were created by Strong Sad in Homestarloween Party. According to Strong Sad, the Visor Robot had the brain of the Sad Kids' father. Like Strong Sad, both are almost in grayscale, with white skin and blue-gray clothes. They both appear to lack arms and have heavy bags under their eyes. The girl has long, black hair and wears a dress with a lace collar. The boy wears a shapeless gray garment, a whoopee cap, and dark gray shoes. He is also one of the few people in the Homestar Runner universe to have ears. They have the same voice (similar to Strong Sad's), and don't usually say anything except confused statements, such as "Huh?", "What?", and "Weird."
They often appear in commercials for Fluffy Puff Marshmallows and Air-Puffed Sugar Delights, which strangely suggests that they are children in both the present-day and the 1930s, or have look-alikes. They dressed up as The King of Town and the Wicked Witch of the West for the Fluffy Puff Malloweens commercial. They are frequently shown being mistreated in some way by the other characters, often by Marshie in his commercials, and/or crushed by various large objects. In Stack 'Em to the Heavens!, they claim to be vegan. A @StrongBadActual Tweet revealed that their 20X6 variations were planned to appear in a Stinkoman 20X6 Level 10 cutscene at one point, but this idea went unused.
