"I guess I, like, represent symbolism and stuff?"
The classic novel Moby-Dick, the tale of a whaling ship's crew hunting the eponymous white whale, has been referenced several times in the Homestar Runner body of work.

- Main Page 3 — The whale that appears when rolling over "Games" resembles Moby Dick.
- Blubb-O's Commercial — In response to Coach Z dressing up as the Drive-Thru Whale in an advertisement for Blubb-O's, Strong Bad says, "Thar she blows!", a notable quote from the novel, and has The Cheat shoot a harpoon at Coach Z.
- Homestar Ruiner — In the Teen Girl Squad, a caricature of Moby Dick eats So and So.
- Baddest of the Bands — Coach Z calls the Drive-Thru Whale "Moby Dork".
