Coach Z's Nicetown Players

Strong Mad and Coach Z share an interesting relationship. Most of the time, the Coach acts like a coach to Strong Mad. However, he often simultaneously acts as an uncle figure, offering advice and guidance. Strong Mad seems to tolerate Coach Z much more than other characters, but several occasions of his antagonism have been shown. Additionally, when interacting with each other, their negative aspects seem to be downplayed. The Coach acts less creepy, and Strong Mad seems kinder and even more intelligent.

Strong Mad and Coach Z getting along/working together

• A Jorb Well Done — Strong Bad, Strong Mad, and The Cheat try to help Coach Z pronounce "job", albeit ridiculing and laughing at him when he gets it wrong.
• Where's The Cheat? — Coach Z tries to help Strong Mad find The Cheat, and also orders him to punch The King of Town, who he believes is going to eat The Cheat.
• A Decemberween Pageant — Coach Z speaks to Strong Mad in a kind tone when Strong Mad yells that he's open.
• Strong Mad's Character Video — Coach Z records the video, and tells Strong Mad that it was a good take, even though he almost broke the camera.
• Fall Float Parade — Coach Z praises Strong Mad's theft of Bubs' Concession Stand.
• Email underlings — Strong Mad communicates to Coach Z that his swimsuit is too small.
• Dangeresque (film series) — Strong Mad and Coach Z both play roles in the movie.
• Email being mean — Coach Z, Strong Mad, and Marzipan act out a scene in The Classroom.
• Homestar Ruiner — Coach Z talks to Strong Mad about his Total Load use, and then says "[Strong Mad is] a smart kid.".
• 8-Bit is Enough — Strong Mad (as Putchnya Shotski) appears to be training at the track with Coach Z.
• Coach Z's 110% — A video clip near the beginning shows Coach Z speaking to Strong Mad.
• Accent — Strong Mad helps Coach Z get Strong Bad's accent back.

• Strong Mad's Character Video — Strong Mad attacks the Coach's camera.
• Strong Bad Is In Jail Cartoon — Coach Z arrests Strong Bad and The Cheat, but Strong Mad busts them out of jail.
• Email senior prom — Strong Mad, Strong Bad and The Cheat crash the prom that the Coach chaperons.
• Email being mean — Strong Mad attacks Coach Z with a spiked club in the skit.
• Strong Badia the Free — Strong Mad will attack the Coach on the game board.
• Which Ween Costumes? — Strong Mad, along with everyone else, groans at Coach Z's idea for a costume.
