"Uh-oh. This does not look good for Homestar Runner."
"Oops! You bwoke it." is a phrase said by Homestar Runner, with "broke" pronounced in his trademark speech impediment. Rather than appearing in-universe, it is typically directed at users and viewers to indicate an error has taken place.
Appearances
- Strong Bad 404 Error Page — The page's main header reads "OOPS! You bwoke it."
- Homestar Runner Desktop Theme — An audio clip of Homestar saying the phrase is used as an error sound.
- System Sounds — The error sound from the desktop theme is reused.
- 404'd — "Oops! You bwoke it." is the page title, no longer appearing on the 404 page itself.
- Dangeresque Roomisode X: Inspection Certificate on File in Building Office — "Oops! You bwoke it." is one of the messages that can display on a game over screen.
Variations
- Homestar Runner and Strong Bad Screensaver — If the installation fails, a dialog box appears reading "Oops. You broke it."
