Homestar Runner Wiki sysops have the ability to protect pages or images such that they cannot be modified except by other sysops. This ability is only to be used in certain circumstances.

Reasons for protection

Reasons for protecting pages include (but are not limited to):

Protecting high visibility pages such as the Main Page from vandalism.
Protecting certain pages or images closely related to the Main Page.
Maintaining the integrity of the site's logos.
Protecting the often-used texts in the MediaWiki namespace.

Templates

For temporary protections, one of two templates should be used: Template:Mprotected for images currently being displayed on the main page, and Template:Vprotected in cases of repeated vandalism.

Mirror of Homestar Runner Wiki. This site is an independent mirror / archive of content originally published on Homestar Runner Wiki (hrwiki.org). Because a wiki is a living document, some pages here may differ from the source: material may have been edited after the snapshot used for this mirror, and migration or conversion may have introduced changes.

How this site is run. HR Wiki Twice is maintained by a long-time fan who pays the hosting and related costs out of pocket. It is run at a loss: there is no advertising, and donations are not accepted. This is a labor of love, offered so that this community’s body of knowledge can remain freely available online.
