Real World References

The star pattern displayed in the flag's union is a 28-star design. It was introduced on July 4, 1846, when Texas was admitted to the Union. The design was used for only one year.

Goofs

The flag has 14 stripes. An American flag has 13 stripes (7 red and 6 white), each representing one of the original 13 colonies.
