"The '74s was the prime of my dating year!"
The year 1974 has been referenced on several occasions, typically used by The Brothers Chaps to denote a time significantly in the past. As Mike and Matt Chapman were born in 1973 and 1976, respectively, the date is likely considered to be a while back from their perspective.
Appearances
- Thorax Corporation — The alternative text for Leg Delabor's photo on the "Our Gentle Staph" page is "11/4/74".
- Strongest Man in the World — The Grape Fairie claims that Mookie Wilson gave him the Golbol to his aunt in 1974.
- Email what i want — The spherical Commemorative Coach Z Ornament is labeled with this year.
- Decemberween Short Shorts — The ornament reappears, and Coach Z claims that 1974 was "the prime of [his] dating year."
- Drive-Thru (Easter egg) — Strong Bad asks "Inviso-Jeeves" for a bottle of Château Prétende 1974.
