Fun Facts

Explanations

Remarks

  • In the "Everybody, Everybody" wallpaper, The Poopsmith's lower arms are orange, while his upper arms are stained.
  • Viewing the Flash file of the wallpaper pop-up (http://www.homestarrunner.com/hsicons/wallpaper.swf) instead of going through the Downloads page causes the links to not work. They come up as armywallpaper2.jpg instead of armywallpaper2.jpg (for example).

Fixed Goofs

  • The Homestarmy poster initially lacked the letter "m", reading "Homestary." A few hours after being up, the design was fixed.

Inside References

  • Strong Bad's message "Every time that I look at myself, I can't believe how awesome I am!!!" is a quote from Strong Bad Sings.

Real-World References

  • The Homestarmy poster is an obvious play on the iconic Uncle Sam recruitment poster reading "I want you for U.S. Army".
    • The Homestarmy poster and those flanking it are all based on war propaganda posters disseminated by the U.S. government during World War II.
  • The Municipality "We're Onto You" design is evocative of "Big Brother is watching you" from Nineteen Eighty-Four.

Fast Forward

  • The Marshmallow wallpaper is seen again in the Strong Bad Email videography.
