Strong Mad's greeting, "IS YOUR REFRIGERATOR PERRY RUNNING" is obviously a reference to his attempted prank call in Marzipan's Answering Machine Version 4.

Proposed revision:

Strong Mad attempted almost the same prank greeting as in this toon on Marzipan's Answering Machine Version 4.0.

  • This clears up the issue of a possible non-reference while still making the connection.

Arguments against:

  • It's still pretty similar to the original fact.

  • Strong Mad must think that joke is REALLY funny.
