The Kinda Long-Haired Band makes their debut!
While long outdated, cassette tapes are in surprisingly widespread use by most of the site's characters.
Appearances
- Strong Bad Sings — The album is available on twelve cassettes.
- Marzipan's Answering Machine episodes 1-8 used an answering machine where the tape is visible. This machine also appeared in the email personal favorites, in which it explodes, leaving the broken tape behind.
- Marzipan's Answering Machine Version 17.2 — The tape is not visible inside the answering machine, but the machine explodes in a similar manner as its predecessor did; the broken tape is again left behind.
- A Jorb Well Done — Strong Sad gives Coach Z a tape labeled "Job—285,194 times."
- Email theme party (Easter egg) — A cassette tape plays Circles by The Kinda Long-Haired Band.
- Email autobiography — Words I Probably Said is sold on cassettes. The case is shown to have a pirated copy of Shaq Fu: Da Return.
