"I think I remember hearing something about it on the...news..."

The Desert is where the Cheat Commandos find themselves while searching for Blue Laser's Secret Desert Headquarters in the short "Cheat Commandos...O's." It appears again in Sbemail 150?!?, only this time it is shown through Strong Sad's drawing.

Gunhaver is sure that the secret entrance to Blue Laser's secret desert headquarters is in the secret desert somewhere, because he thinks he remembers "hearing something about it on the... news..." Actually, Blue Laser's secret desert headquarters was relocated to Blue Laser Commander's Nana's backyard, so they didn't find anything until Crackotage dropped Cheat Commandos...O's from his plane. This gave them the sustenance they needed to find Blue Laser's new headquarters.
