- This plant has no official name. "Weird Shrub" is from the cover of "The Homeless Romantic: verses from the weird shrub and alarming recipes for brunswick stew" seen in love poems.
In the email kind of cool, it is implied that Senor Cardgage lives in a shrub, or at least that he suspiciously comes out from behind bushes and shrubs a lot. One weird shrub in particular has made recurring appearances when Senor Cardgage is around.
The DVD commentaries for Senor Mortgage and kind of cool point out that the shrub was originally going to be named Strongberg, though this idea seems to have been abandoned.
