Double Decades!!

Trogday is an annual commemoration of Trogdor's birthday, celebrating the anniversary of his debut in the Strong Bad Email dragon on January 13, 2003.

Appearances

2006

• The toon Happy Trogday commemorates the third birthday with a fanstuff montage, set to the expanded version of the song "Trogdor".
  • The toon also includes Stinkoman remarking that his birthday (the release of japanese cartoon) was a week prior. He is then confronted by Trogador, the 20X6 variation of Trogdor, for a "birthday challenge".
• A Store sale celebrates Trogdor's third birthday by discounting Trogdor merchandise.

2007

• The Store discounts Trogdor merchandise to celebrate Trogdor's fourth birthday.

2008

• Trogday 08 uses a bait-and-switch approach to instead feature a campy alphabet song about The S is for Sucks Dragon, as the two dragons share a birthday. When Strong Bad, in his typical sarcastic manner, claims this was due to internet users "ruining" Trogdor (along with zombies, pirates, ninjas, and himself), an angry Trogdor compels him to record an additional heavy metal song about The S is for Sucks Dragon.
• A special index page, featuring Trogdor in the shape of a numeral 5, was in place for his birthday week.
• A Trogdor desktop wallpaper by Rob Schrab was made available to download via the Main Pages.
• A "Burnination Celebration" sale discounts Trogdor merchandise, including a limited-edition "Five-dor" t-shirt.

2010

• The PC version of 8-Bit is Enough was made available for free for the day.
  • This was teased by a Main Page pop-up on the 10th that hinted "the Burninator wants to give YOU a present!"
• Another Trogday sale is held.

2011

• Trogdor's eighth birthday is marked by a store sale.

2016

• Teen Trog Squad reimagines Teen Girl Squad with dragons, as Trogdor is now thirteen years old and therefore a teenager.

2018

• An HTML5 version of the TROGDOR! game was released, making the game playable in any browser on any device.
• A fan meetup was held at Wild Heaven Beer in Georgia, including a cutout standee where fans could insert their face or beefy arm into a scene of Trogdor burninating a peasant.

2019

• @StrongBadActual invites fans to share pictures of their favorite "Trog-sighting or Trogdor-shaped item!"

2020

• Strong Bad decides to shift the day's focus away from Trogdor, instead celebrating 17 years of the countryside of Peasantry.

2021

• The Trogdor-themed Main Page 27 was released, the first new main page in over a decade.

2022

• Trogday Micro Game, a homebrew Game Boy game, was released.

2023

• Happy 20th Trogday! shares a faux promotional trailer for a VGA enhanced version of Peasant's Quest.

2024

• Several alternate sketches from "dragon" are shared, including one dubbed "Dogdor" who looks very different from how Trogdor ended up.
