The mechanical issues such as tracking problems, visible vertical rainbow, and the ubiquitous blinking 12:00 are a running joke. It is usually seen on top of the Telebision.

The Older VCR

VHS TOTALTRONICS

The Strongs' VCR originally appeared as a top-loading wood grain model. First seen on the email stand-up within Strong Sad's room, the Totaltronics VHS shares the blinking 12:00 with the more modern version. It somewhat resembles a Sony Betamax.
