Often, characters in the Homestar Runner universe will refer to a deal as sweet. The phrase "sweet deals" is also used to express that something is excellent.

- Peasant's Quest — When Rather Dashing makes a trade with a Keeper of Trogdor for the Trog-Helmet, the Keeper calls it a "sweet deal".
- NYU Talk - 1 Mar 2005 — Matt Chapman says that he has some sweet deals for all the fans in the audience.
- Teen Girl Squad Issue 10 (DVD commentary) — Matt refers to the 3D rotation as a sweet deal.
- Halloween Potion-ma-jig — When Homestar Runner offers a thorough explanation of how the King of Town's buried sandwich tasted, the King calls it a "sweet deal" and offers some powdered Thanksgiving in return.
