Spam is the collective term for unwanted email messages, usually of a commercial nature.
Appearances
- Email credit card — Strong Bad receives a phishing email from "John, and some other people who aren't scam artists" requesting his credit card information.
- Email unused emails — When strapped for cash, Strong Bad sells the email addresses from the emails he receives to Bubs, for use in his weekly spamvertisements.
- Under Construction — One of the advertisements along the bottom of the page promises "Spam Free Living!!"
- Email candy product — The Lappy 486 has a piece of computer protection software called "Edgar's Baby's Daddy", which is used to filter out all the junkmail sent by Homestar Runner.
- Email web comics — The Cheat creates interpretive drawings based on the "weird senders' names" from spam emails.
- Homestar Ruiner — Strong Bad receives an advertisement from Total Load Total Etc., Inc, and another from Bubs. When Strong Bad asks Bubs for his Total Load sample before it arrives, he reconsiders his policy about responding to random spam.
- 8-Bit is Enough — Strong Bad refers to a pop-up window containing Homestar (in a manner similar to virus) as "HomeSpam".
