Pinecones are not often seen in the Homestar Runner universe, but the characters will frequently mention them, usually under strange circumstances. They have been pronounced "pimecones" on three occasions, and the characters reference eating them. They are also an ingredient of wood-davers (pinecone bird feeders).

- Email caffeine — Hyperactive Strong Sad tries to get Marzipan to make wood-davers with him, using pinecones and peanut butter.
- Email boring (really) — Wood-davers are mentioned again.
- Email secret recipes — Homestar Runner tries to get revenge on Strong Bad and The Cheat by putting a pinecone in a bowl and claiming it to be "
