Sometimes in the Homestar Runner body of work, a character uses a noun and a verb together in quick succession; in text format, the words are usually connected together with a hyphen.

Appearances

• Email Videro Games — In an anecdote that is about intensely bad grammar in some video games, Strong Bad talks about the use of the lone "Congraturation" that you receive when you beat the game. He comments about it being one "single congraturation they had lying around the... video-game-make place."
• Email secret recipes — Coach Z takes Strong Bad's offer for free ice cream because he claims he cannot afford the money-cost variety.
• Happy Hallow-day — Strong Bad says, "What's this crap-take?". Later, in an Easter egg, Homestar compliments Marzipan's "kind-of-a mustache-have" costume.
• Email business trip — When Homestar Runner trades The King of Town two cans of Pork b/w Beans, a confused Strong Bad exclaims, "What the sense-make?"
• Email specially marked — A potential prize in an Iowa-grown cereal box is a "Takesteppa™ Step Take Monitor".
• SBCG4AP Dev Blog — In the June 4, 2008 entry, Strong Bad thinks that video games would be marketed better if they had "GRAPHICS-HAVE" printed on the box.
• Strong Badia the Free — After taking over the King of Town's castle, Strong Bad tells Strong Sad to "stop with all the food-make".
• Coach Z's 110% — The instructional video is free with "proof of VCR-have."
• Behind the Bad Chapter 3: The Last Straw — Strong Bad tells Telltale Games that Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People isn't supposed to be a "box-look-under game".
• Email imaginary — Strong Bad says that his brothers are "galactically incapable of friend-have".
• Coach Z pukes in dude's toupee — The description for the video states that Coach Z "pukemakes most moistly".
• Poker Night at the Inventory — Strong Bad mentions "the Inverse Property of Luck-Have".
• The House That Gave Sucky Tricks — After The King of Town says that Fudgie the whale always made him, Strong Bad cuts him off with, "You say no more word-talk!"
• @StrongBadActual tweet (18 Nov 2016) — Strong Bad referred to Fan Costumes 2016 as "Fan Costume Fun-Of Make 2016".
• @StrongBadActual Tweet (17 Jul and 20 Jul 2017) — Strong Bad and Homestar, respectively, posted videos from the fake app "Craze-O Facemake". The Instagram account posted these videos simultaneously.
• Store — The description for the Decemberween Gifts! collection asks "Does the Homestar fan in your life suffer from Too-Much-T-Shirt-Have?".
• Index Page — As of January 2018, the Index Page invites readers to, "Sign up for the Deleteheads Mailing List and we will let you know when we engage in cool-new-stuff-make!"
• @StrongBadActual tweet (13 Nov 2018) — Strong Bad said he will send things to people whose costumes were used in Fan Costumes 2018 if they like mail-get.
• Disk 4 of 12 - World Games — When Strong Bad complains about not winning a sumo match, he says "What the rules-have?"
• Bug In Mouth Disease — The description for the YouTube version states that "Homestar suffers from bug-swallow".
• Dangeresque Roomisode 2: The Intersection of Doom & Boom — Renaldo boasts of the car radio's "built-in sound-have".
• Dangeresque Roomisode 3: Keep My Enemies, Loser — If Dangeresque doesn't know what to call Perducci's cocktail, he will refer to it nondescriptively as great name-call and words-make.
• Dangeresque Roomisode X: Inspection Certificate on File in Building Office‎ — When Dangeresque Too finds a messy bib that has been left behind, he eagerly says Mine-Take!

• Haunted Photo Booth — Homestar refers to himself as Wrong-Say Homestar and Right-Say Homestar.
• Email parenting — Homestar is confused when he hears words from mean-say Marzipan's brain coming out of nice-say Marzipan's face.

Verb-verb

• Jibblies 2 — Homestar refers to the Jibblies painting as "creep-take".
• 8-bit is Enough — Strong Bad says knowing that Gel-arshie can look into his bedroom from the game is a "creep-take".
• Squintmojis — A disclaimer during Homestar's mumbled account reads "Actual Talk-Say".
• Stack 'Em to the Heavens! — Marshie points out that "Stack 'Em to the Heavens" is a talk-say he made a long time ago, and immediately scorns "these jerks" for stealing it.
• Action Cool News-oween Report — A mustachioed Homestar, labelled Unconcerned Citizen, refers to the Jibblies Painting as a creep-take.
