A very high five

The Brothers Chaps often make reference to the act of giving a high five. In addition to the characters within the Homestar Runner Universe giving and talking about high fives, The Brothers Chaps often use the phrase in public appearances.

• Email autobiography — Strong Bad says, "I was trying to high five everyone in sight."
• Strong Bad's character video — Strong Bad says, "Dudes, form a line to my right for high fives!" Later, Homestar says, "Well, I was gonna get a high five, but I see that I'm already here. And with a snake on my head!"
• DVD Commentary for Decemberween Sweet Cuppin' Cakes — Mike Chapman says, "Hey, high five."
• TMBG Concert - 25 Sep 2004 — Homestar Runner says, "Oh, I'm always givin' high fives."
• Email technology — Strong Bad says to Pom Pom, "...and he just got into Sundance! High five, brother!"
• An Important Rap Song — Crack Stuntman sings, "Throw your hands in the air for some high fives!"

• Email impression (Easter egg) — The Jhonka is described as being susceptible to gags such as "Gimme five. Up high. Down low. Too slow."

• Email labor day — While at The Stick, Strong Bad says "High five, The Stick!" and promptly smacks the top off of it. He later apologizes by saying, "Sorry about that high five thing."
• New Boots — Strong Bad says, "High five, The Cheat!" while reaching into outer space, where they give each other "a very high-five".
• Fan Costume Commentary — The ninth picture depicts a man dressed as Strong Bad making out with a girl next to two signs, one reading "HIGH FIVES" and the other "MAKE OUTS".
