Despite almost never being used for cleaning things, towels nonetheless continue to be mentioned and used in the Homestar Runner universe.

Appearances

• In Search of the Yello Dello — The showering alien's towel falls off.
• Main Page 14 — Homestar Runner appears, dressed in nothing but a towel.
• Where's The Cheat? — After tearfully "confessing" to killing Pom Pom in a prank call, Strong Bad (as Homestar) requests that Marzipan "bring some towels... And some garbage bags".
• Email suntan — Strong Bad sunbathes on a towel with a tiger on it.
• Halloween Fairstival — A drippy towel is among the horrifying objects in Coach Z's locker room.
• Email secret recipes — The Cheat wears a towel to hide the fact that he's been shaven.
• Email trading cards — Coach Z is shown wearing a towel on the "Showering Expert" card.
• Decemberween Short Shorts — Coach Z makes a Decemberween tree out of towels, underwear, and Blue Star Ointment. Homestar wears a towel around his neck.
• DNA Evidence — Coach Z (as Damp Towel Man) collects a gross towel from the House of the Brothers Strong.
• Email concert — Strong Bad and Strong Sad wear towels on their heads while in the mud baths.
• Teen Girl Squad Issue 14 — Cheerleader is killed by the towels and other equipment from the Towel Boy Team Manager's cart.
• The Next Epi-Snowed — Gunhaver is shown wearing a towel.
• Strong Badia the Free — Strong Bad uses Strong Mad's "athletic region towel" to construct his effigy of The King of Town.
• Coach Z's 110% — Homestar again wears a towel around his "shoulders".

Paper Towels

"Get this, Vera, it's exorbitantly absorbent!"

• Shopping For Danger — Blue Laser goes shopping at Price Style to purchase WIPE! brand paper towels.
• Paper towel tubes have been used in the construction of The Proud Anselmo in space program and the USS Flirtini in Date Nite.
• Email bottom 10 — At the end of the e-mail, Strong Bad asks Simone to bring some paper towels to help him clean his own puke off the keyboard.
• Email licensed — Biscuitdoughhandsman licenses his likeness to use on paper towel rolls.
• Hremails — The automated response that came from e-mailing DJmankiewicz@homestarrunner.com address was "Oh, hello everyone! For some unknown reason I'm getting this big cavalcanche of emails all of the sudden. They're filling up the basement and I'm running out of paper towels!"
• Decemberween Dangeresque — Dangeresque insists that Hot Jones is always placed on the shelf between the paper towels and the black beans.
