<p>In <b><a href="/index.php?title=techno" title="techno">techno</a></b>, the 45th <a href="/index.php?title=Strong_Bad_Email" title="Strong Bad Email">Strong Bad Email</a>, released on Monday, October 7, 2002, Silent J asks Strong Bad if he likes techno. While Strong Bad says it's not really his style, he nonetheless proceeds to write a techno song using his own voice. After starting out with a simple beat, he adds more and more parts, including a siren-like noise and the "obligatory old movie quote from some sci-fi movie" which gave the song its name: <a href="/index.php?title=The_System_is_Down" title="The System is Down">The System Is Down</a>. Meanwhile, <a href="/index.php?title=The_Cheat" title="The Cheat">The Cheat</a> begins to add visual effects using his own <a href="/index.php?title=The_Cheat%27s_Lightswitch" title="The Cheat's Lightswitch">lightswitch</a> and a glowstick, though Strong Bad disapproves of his "throw[ing] lightswitch raves", and suggests that they pour the contents of the glowstick into <a href="/index.php?title=Homestar_Runner" title="Homestar Runner">Homestar Runner</a>'s <a href="/index.php?title=Mountain_Dew" title="Mountain Dew">Mountain Dew</a>.
