Bubs shows his moves!

Dancin' Bubs is a game in which the player makes Bubs do a variety of movements with his arms, head, and legs. He can also do flips, twists, and spins. The player can choose four songs (plus silence) and four backgrounds (plus plain black).

Moves

Head

1. Bobs head forward and back
2. Moves head left and right in waves
3. Turns head left and right
4. Eyes shrink and grow
5. Moves head left and right, forward and back
6. Turns head to upper left and upper right
7. Moves head up and down

Left and Right Arms

1. Keeps arm bent, raises and drops arm
2. Slides arm up and down
3. Holds arm above head and moves up and down
4. Swings bent arm back and forth
5. Moves arm out and back in in waves
6. Keeps arm bent, fans head
7. Holds arms down, bent at elbow, and pushes out
8. Nothing

Legs

1. Skips left and right
2. Bounces up and down on ground
3. Does jumping jacks
4. Alternates shaking left and right foot in air
5. Bounces on ground to left and right
6. Jumps and does a split
7. Moves feet quickly as if running, and then suddenly tilts to side

1. Dance stage, with The King of Town, Coach Z, Strong Bad, Homestar Runner, Strong Mad, Marzipan, The Cheat, Champeen, and Homeschool Winner watching.

Fun Facts

Remarks

• The controls for the arms refer to the viewer's left and right, not Bubs's.
• Strong Bad has unusual proportions and only one arm.
• This is one of the few games with a special, non-traditional border.

Glitches

• When "Legs" is set to #1 or #4, the legs will be temporarily disconnected from Bubs.
• When "Legs" is set to #7, Bubs's eyes and mouth will be reversed when he leans to the side, as shown in the image above.
• When choosing a song in the Flash file, and then playing the song again, the songs will overlap.

Inside References

• Dancin' Bubs initially used completely different background music. Judging from the filenames, this included:
  • Banjo music, which was replaced by the music from the Easter egg in little questions
  • A "money" theme, which is now Techno
  • A drum 'n' bass sample, now Everybody to the Limit
  • A breakbeat sample, now Everybody! Everybody!

Fast Forward

• Bubs uses moves from this game in the dance contest in replacement and his character video, as well as having his left arm stuck in one movement in virus.
• Bubs mentions in No Hands On Deck! that he "likes to dance" and then breaks out in the spin and flip.
  • A few of Bubs' dance moves also appear in nightlife.
• Bubs is seen dancing with the caption "Still Dang Dancin'!" in a fake thumbnail in the YouTube version of Flash is Dead!
