Dodongo dislikes Flash pranks
Nice Try!, or a similar taunting message, is occasionally used to confront a viewer trying to access visuals or other content that is typically hidden. Most commonly, this text is hidden by The Brothers Chaps in Flash files to surprise a viewer who has decompiled the Flash file looking for secrets.
The variation "Nice try, Dodongo!", mentioning a recurring enemy type from The Legend of Zelda games, originated in the Strong Bad Email the chair.
Appearances
- Sbemail 100 Fakeout — At this time, the file name convention for Strong Bad Emails was "sbemail#.html" (for instance, the first email was "sbemail1.html"). Viewers who attempted to view the 100th email before its release by navigating to sbemail100.html were instead met with a taunting message from Strong Bad, saying, "Oh, I suppose you think you're pretty clever, huh?".
