This trend was rather uncommon on the website until resurfacing in October 2014, starting with [[Fish Eye Lens]], at which point it became standard for toons not to have a back button. This is likely because users were more likely to use the browser's back button more than the one seen at the end of the toon, defeating this purpose.

I don't see a back button here, do you?

Almost all pages in the Homestar Runner body of work have had back buttons implemented, allowing the user to easily access the menu from which they (presumably) found the toon. However, some toons and pages do not have a back button, forcing the user to choose between their browser's back button and the NavBar for website navigation.

This trend was rather uncommon on the website until resurfacing in October 2014, starting with Fish Eye Lens, at which point it became standard for toons not to have a back button. This is likely because users were more likely to use the browser's back button more than the one seen at the end of the toon, defeating this purpose.
