"You let me borrow your hat, I let you borrow my jock."
As a piece of sports equipment used as a substitute for underwear, the Jock Strap has been a staple of comedy for years, so naturally turns up in the silly world of Homestar Runner, usually in relation to Coach Z.
Appearances
- In Search of the Yello Dello — There's a jock strap discarded on top of the lockers when Coach Z talks to Homestar Runner in his "office".
- Halloween Fairstival — Coach Z tries to scare The Cheat with Blue Star Ointment, a remedy for jock itch.
- Email candy product — Strong Bad wonders why sports stars have licenced candy products when he thinks it would be more appropriate for them to have branded jock straps or divorce lawyers.
- Homestar Ruiner — Strong Bad puts itching powder on Coach Z's jock strap for three years and frames Homestar Runner for it, before realising that Coach Z never noticed and/or complained.
- Baddest of the Bands —
- Coach Z's office contains an apparently sentient mound of unwashed socks and crusty jocks.
- If Bubs finds the alarm in Coach Z's office, and it's not the last incident to convince him that Coach Z still has street cred, he catches himself talking to no-one, and blames it on the jock strap fumes.
- Coach Z's 110% — The tapes all have images of a jock strap on them.
- Where my Hat is at? (Toon) — Homestar Runner tries to get Pom Pom to trade his hat for Homestar's jock strap.
- 4 Gregs — When the Gregs get hit with an "explicit wedgie", a jock strap is seen flying.
- Marzipan's Answering Machine 17.2 — Coach Z asks Marzipan to find some exonerating evidence that he's got under a pile of jock straps, advising her to spray Right-Guard on her arm to do so.
- Email the next april fools thing — Coach Z twirls a jock-strap on his fingers as he admires Strong Bad ranting at himself in the mirror.
