Abdi is real! An early fan I actually had to ask to specifically email me because nobody knew I had an email address yet!
In 2001, Abdi LaRue made Homestar Runner history as the first of hundreds to have an email personally answered by Strong Bad. Future Strong Bad Emails would make brief tribute to this unknown figure.
Appearances
- Debut: Email some kinda robot — Strong Bad answers Abdi's email.
- Email flashback — Abdi's email appears on the Compy 386's screen.
- Email pom pom (Easter egg) — While playing cards with emails, Strong Bad's hand contains "a pair of Abdis and a Viklas".
- Email fan club — Strong Sad informs the other Deleteheads that Abdi will appear at the FHQWHfest.
- Email email thunder — Strong Bad sends an email to Homestar Runner and signs it "Abdi".
- Hremail 7 (Easter egg) — Strong Bad asks The Cheat to ring up Abdi and get him to send Strong Bad an email. And so, the first Strong Bad Email was from Abdi LaRue.
