"WHAT DID I TELL YOU TO DO?" "To make good graphics..."
From the panel "Homestar Runner: Games Games Games!" at PAX East 2018:
MIKE CHAPMAN: I sometimes forget what type of graphics we make at Videlectrix...
MATT CHAPMAN: Yeah, he has a hard time.
MIKE CHAPMAN: ...Matt is quick to remind me.
MATT CHAPMAN: {as Videlectrix One} I SAID GOOD GRAPHICS! I HAVE TO COME IN EVERY DAY AND LOOK AT THIS MESS!
Good graphics is a term used by Videlectrix to describe their game design ethos. The phrase is commonly said by the Videlectrix Guys, with one constantly frustrated at the quality of his subordinate's output. However, Videlectrix's so-called "good" graphics are often decades out of date, typically resembling games from the Atari 2600 or Nintendo Entertainment System; Videlectrix programmers have described 3D graphics as "ridiculous".
