Michael Jackson, widely known as the King of Pop, was an American musician and remains one of the most commercially successful and influential entertainers of all time. His work had an effect on and is referenced in the Homestar Runner body of work.

• Fan Stuff — The caption on page 17 jokingly states that Homestar Runner (actually dressed as Neo) is dressed up as Michael Jackson from the "Bad" music video.

• The House That Gave Sucky Tricks — Marzipan dresses up as Captain EO, portrayed by Jackson in the 4D Disney movie of the same name.
• Trogdor!! The Board Game (video) — The phrasing "*Actual tiles do not Billie Jean", used in a video clip demonstrating gameplay of Trogdor!! The Board Game, refers to the illuminating tiles in the "Billie Jean" music video.
