Make-O Your Own Stinko(man) Sprite Comic Generator is a comic-making game which was originally an Easter egg found in the Strong Bad Email web comics. Functions

The Make-O Your Own Stinko interface

Near the center of the screen is the comic panel, which can be switched to any of four "panes" using the menu above. On the left are the backgrounds, and on the right are the selectable sprites (labeled "stuff"), which are divided into four scrollable columns, with the speech balloon above (labeled "Talk Bubble").

The background can be resized and positioned by clicking on it, then clicking the arrows below labeled "size" and "pos.". When clicking a sprite, it appears near the the upper left corner, and can be dragged anywhere on the panel. Selected sprites have a red border around them that fades in and out. When a sprite is selected, the "depth" arrows change how it overlaps with other sprites, the "trash" button deletes it, the "size" arrows resize it, the "rot." arrows rotate it, and the "X" and "Y" buttons under "flip" cause the sprite to be flipped horizontally or vertically, respectively. Talk bubbles have all of these options except for "flip", which is replaced with "carat". This moves the "tail" of the bubble left or right. Additionally, text can be added ("..." by default).

On the right, there are three other buttons: "name", "MS Paint", and "view comic". The "name" button allows you to enter your name for the "view comic" screen, and is set to "Stonk Bad" by default. The "MS Paint" button on the right lets you "MS Paint your way to a non-punchline" by cycling through a series of five different overlaps. "View comic" shows all four panels of your comic, with "STINKOMAN SUNDAY FUN TALK" written above, followed by your name. "Totally not ©20x6 Harmless Junk Syndicate" is written sideways along the right side of the comic. This screen gives you the option to print your comic or return to the editing screen. Your name will be labeled at random from a given list of verbs and adverbs, in the form of "past-tense verb and adverb past-tense verb":

Trivia

  • This game was previously only accessible through web comics until October 15, 2007, a week later, when it was put on the Scrolling Shooter Games Menu. In addition, the game received new features, including an intro screen, the Stinkowing and Level 9 enemy sprites, the "MS Paint" button, and the ability to replace "Stonk Bad" as the author, with humorous remarks about the sprites being stolen. A subtitle was added to the loading screen stating: "VERSION 1.1. NEW AND BARELY IMPROVED!"
  • This is the first time that Pan Pan and Z Sabre have been seen as in-game sprites rather than cutscene sprites.

Remarks

  • The backgrounds that can be used are in the following order:
  • The MS Paint effects include:
    • A "Kilroy was here" below a red explosion reading "blan!" and multicolored shapes.
    • Overlapping and partially erased shapes, with a green splash reading "bleah" at the bottom.
    • Random shapes and lines covered by a yellow airbrush, with two red eyes above (as seen in web comics).
    • A black stickman chasing a red stickman, with "THe TeST: PART 1" written above and "It's not finished!" below.
    • A poorly drawn Trogdor breathing fire and holding a soda, with "Trogor" written below.
  • Because of the black background, the silhouette of Z Sabre is not visible, but can be found by clicking on a "blank" area in the fourth column (under the tree).
