Guitar Hero is a series of video games formerly developed by Harmonix that enables players to play along to well-known rock songs using a guitar-shaped controller. The CEO of Harmonix, Alex Rigopulos, contacted The Brothers Chaps and asked if they would be willing to include a Homestar Runner song as a bonus track on Guitar Hero II (see Georgia Tech - 26 Apr 2007). Following the success of Guitar Hero II, Harmonix developed Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s and once again used a Homestar Runner song as part of the game's set list.
