Popular musician David Bowie has been referenced numerous times in the Homestar Runner body of work.
Appearances
- New Boots — The Cheat's boots are a reference to Bowie's song, "The Man Who Sold The World". On the inside liner cover of the similarly titled record album, there is a picture of a cowboy holding a shotgun, with a pair of boots with dollar signs emblazoned on the sides of them that look almost exactly like the boots The Cheat is wearing in the toon.
- Thy Dungeonman II — Custodial Magistrate Ripberger's office has paintings of him shaking hands with famous people, including David Bowie.
