"Hey, check it out! I'm The Aquabats!"
The Aquabats are a superhero-themed rock band that The Brothers Chaps have collaborated with several times.
The Brothers Chaps previously worked on frontman Christian Jacobs's preschooler show Yo Gabba Gabba!, which has also been nodded to on Homestar Runner.

Carl is a bad, bad guy!
- Hi-Five Soup! — Strong Bad is a featured artist on "Pink Pants!", alongside a cameo by Homestar Runner.
- Aquabats Concert - 18 Jan 2011 — The same day the album was released, Puppet Strong Bad appeared in a live performance to help sing "Pink Pants!".
- The Aquabats! Super Show! — Matt Chapman contributed wrote, directed, and/or acted in multiple episodes of the show.
- "CobraMan!" — Matt features as villain-of-the-week Carl, a carnival barker who resembles Strong Bad both in voice and his luchador mask.
- @StrongBadActual Tweet (9 Jul 2019) — Strong Bad links to the newly-uploaded episode on YouTube, and posts a short "behind the scenes snippet" from that episode.
- The Jeff Rubin Jeff Rubin Show Interview - 7 July 2014 — Matt mentions the Super Show! being one of his other projects during the hiatus.
