Stinkoman 20X6 has been referenced in numerous Homestar Runner toons released after it.

Fast Forward

• The serrated knife that Bubs uses in Senorial Day looks similar to the Hash-Haw from Level 6.
• The sender of Family Resemblence calls themselves "Jaro".
• In Real-Live E-Mails, Matt Chapman plays the first level of Stinkoman 20X6.
• In bike thief, The Cheat changes into a pile that resembles Gokul. Strong Bad points this out in the DVD commentary.
• In web comics, Strong Bad imagines a web comic based on Stinkoman 20X6. A Stinkoman 20X6 comic generator, Make-O Your Own Stinko, was released as an Easter egg.
• In Fan Costumes '07, in response to a fan dressed as Stinkoman, Strong Bad mentions Level 12 of Stinkoman 20X6, "Front Hallway", whose boss is a vase full of peacock feathers.
• In pet show, The Cheat poisons Madame Bodewell's water with a bottle of "Puke Drops", which resembles Tortan from Level 2. The Brothers Chaps point this out in the DVD commentary.
• The Sketchbook for April 17, 2008 shows some proposed enemies from Level 10 of Stinkoman 20X6.
• In Homestar Ruiner's Teen Girl Squad, one of the gangsters who appear when What's Her Face's car "a splode"s resembles Harvax XVII.
• In Baddest of the Bands, Strong Bad refers to the fake sword as "negative zero", referencing Level -0.
• Stinkoman 20X6 appears as one of the games that Strong Bad can enter in 8-Bit is Enough, although it is region-locked at first. Only a part of Level 1.1 is made "playable" in 3D, although Strong Bad is unable to jump. Stinkoman appears as a 3D model in his regular proportions, instead of the Mega Man-based sprite.
  • Strong Bad claims that he'll make it to Level 50 (even though no such level exists), and mentions a 10.5 stage with Sticklyman as a secret boss (which did eventually come to pass in the form of a playable credits sequence).
  • It is also revealed that the robot enemies can talk, can break regularly coded patterns when asked to, and do in fact enjoy Cold Ones.
• In sbemail 206, the floppy disk container reads "level 10", almost certainly referring to the by-then long-awaited Level 10, and the fact that this was the first Strong Bad Email in five-and-a-half years.
• Prior to its release on December 20, 2020, level 10's release was more explicitly announced and pushed back several times.
  • On January 6, 2018, a teaser for Level 10 was posted on @StrongBadActual, giving the release year of 2018.
  • On January 24, 2018, a sneak peek was revealed in The Deleteheads Download Vol. 1.
  • On December 28, 2018, it was announced via @StrongBadActual that Level 10 had been delayed to 2019.
  • On December 5, 2019, @StrongBadActual announced that Level 10 had been delayed once again and was tentatively scheduled for a 2020 release.
• On day 21 of the Decemberweenvent Calendar, Jonathan Howe is credited for writing the Stinkoman Level 1 theme as Johann Sebastian Howe.
