Stew is a soup-like dish made of vegetables and meat slowly cooked in water or other liquid. Stews of all kinds have been mentioned in unusual places, particularly Brunswick stew.

- Quality Time with Cardboard Homestar — Marzipan is reading a book called "Algonquin Stew".

- A Decemberween Mackerel — Strong Bad mentions Dinty Moore, a brand of stew, in his flashback to Senor Cardgage telling him that he "might paste away."
