Rankin/Bass was an American production company known for its seasonal animated stop motion holiday specials, primarily from Christmas and winter. Their most notable specials include Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Santa Claus is Coming to Town. They also produced the animated television show ThunderCats.
