Sometimes, a character of the Homestar Runner universe (usually Homestar Runner himself) will use an odd simile.

- Summer Short Shorts — Homestar says to Pom Pom:
- "You and me, we're like two breads in a biscuit."
- "We're like this bowl of mayonnaise here."
- "I'm smart as peanuts."
- "You and me? Soggy napkin."
- Strongest Man in the World — Homestar says that he feels "fresh as a bagel!"
- Email rough copy — Homestar says that the Strong Bad-brand water is "Pure as a mountain goat."
- Email winter pool — Strong Bad tells Strong Mad to smack the gelatin in the pool "like a newborn's biscuit."
- April Fool 2014 — Homestar, whilst trying to pep himself up to reintroduce the website, says that the experience is "Just like fallin' off a web van."
