"Whatever happened to the Laserdisc?"
Laserdiscs have been mentioned multiple times in the Homestar Runner body of work, part of the running gag of characters using out-of-date technology.
Appearances
- Email lady...ing — The Cheat plays the very old Strong Bad Email on a Laserdisc and Strong Bad sings a ditty about the format.
- Homestar Runner Original Soundtrack Volume 1 — Strong Bad's song from lady..ing appears as track 23 "Laserdisc".
- Blue Laserdisc Challenge — The entire game is presented as a Laserdisc game.
- videlectrix.com (March 12, 2007) — A news post on the home page suggests using a Laserdisc remote to play Videlectrix's 'Games for Wii'.
- Xeriouxly Forxe (YouTube version) — One of the fake main page messages on Main Page 26 reads "sbemail laserdisc sale".
