Smells Like Hotcakes!
Hot, good-smelling, and quick to sell, hotcakes have made several appearances in the Homestar Runner universe.
Appearances
- Email action figure — According to Strong Bad, his action figure would sell like hotcakes, especially if they smelled like them. In the Easter egg, the figure's box is labelled "Smells Like Hotcakes!"
- Email kids' book — On one page, Strong Bad drew himself next to a girl jumping rope, saying "hiya hotcakes."
- DNA Evidence — When Strong Sad asks Bubs if he sold the DNA in a snow cone, Bubs replies, "And it sold like hotcake!"
Pancakes
- Email montage — Strong Bad imagines a series of montages with a Wagon Fulla Pancakes.
- Senorial Day — The Wagon Fulla Pancakes returns to promote great savings with Senor Cardgage.
- Happy Trogday — Jealous that many have celebrated Trogdor's anniversary, Stinkoman says he doesn't see anyone making any pancakes shaped like him.
- Email trading cards — One of the cards in the Whatsit Pile Tykes series is the Marzi-PANCAKE, which depicts Marzipan getting run over by a steamroller.
- Make a Scene with Telltale: Strong Bad Edition — The King of Town says he is making the world's largest pancake. Homsar claims he's the buttersilk pancake.
- Talkin' Strong Bad Plush Doll Commercial — The Wagon Fulla Pancakes is shown in this live-action advertisement.
- Decemberweenvent Calendar (Day 8) — There is a picture of a stack of pancakes on the sheet music for the song Smells Like Peanut Action.
