"It deliciously didn't work!"
From the army DVD commentary:
>MATT CHAPMAN: I think if Homestar had arms, visible arms, it would be a lot funnier all the time. Like, 'cause he could be poking people with 'em a lot.
Homestar Runner has a tendency to jab people with whatever he is holding, usually for emphasis.
Appearances
- The King of Town DVD — Homestar pokes the King of Town with the pointer he's holding to indicate that the King ate his own sheep.
- Email army — Homestar pokes Strong Bad with an orange spoon a few times in the recruitment scene, and taps Frank Bennedetto's "dead" body a few times, as if to wake him up.
- Labor Dabor — Homestar pokes The Cheat with the orange spoon.
- Bug in Mouth Disease — Homestar eats the King of Town's and Pom Pom's ice cream bars, and jabs Pom Pom with the stick. Pom Pom reacts with mild annoyance.
- A Decemberween Mackerel — Homestar pokes both Bubs and Senor Cardgage with his cram rod, and also jabs an unseen man offscreen.
Other Characters Poking
- Email pom pom — Strong Bad pokes Homestar with a pin several times in an attempt to pop Pom Pom blindfolded, but Homestar does not seem to mind.
- Email secret identity — Strong Bad evicts the Poopsmith out of his house by jabbing him repeatedly using a fork from his fondue pot.
- @StrongBadActual tweet (19 Jul 2018) — Puppet Strong Sad pokes Puppet Strong Bad several times, irritating him.
