Calculators are often used to humorous effect in the Homestar Runner body of work.
Appearances
- Arcade Game — Homestar Runner comments that the TROGDOR! arcade machine is "one big adding machine" (after Strong Bad had told him that they were using it to do The Cheat's taxes).
- Email suntan (Easter egg) — Homsar is shown finishing drawing a calculator displaying the word "SALAd" on his shirt.
- Weekly Fanstuff — A smiling The Cheat is rendered on a TI-83 graphing calculator.
- Email technology — Strong Bad calls solar calculators the future of technology. A solar calculator is drawn on the chalkboard. Strong Bad also makes his calculator say "oboe shoes" (with the space, which is abnormal for calculators).
- Summer Short Shorts — 3.14 appears on the calculator during Limozeen's song "Brain Sister".
- Email theme song — A Cakkalate brand calculator displays "BUTT X 2" as part of the CGNU online e-niversity commercial.
- Email what i want — There is a Cakkalate brand calculator glued to the second seashell.
- Sketchbook — The rejected character Homeschool Winner is holding a calculator.
- Baddest of the Bands — Bubs appears to be (but may possibly not actually be) using a calculator when determining Strong Bad's expenses.
