I'd say it's a good choice of article; lots of info about a fairly obscure group. I think it'll get into the queue sometime, after Halloween is a strong possibility. Incidentally, there's some discussion on the talk page for this page about how to decide the order of the queue. Heimstern Läufer 01:37, 15 August 2010 (UTC)

It will soon be that time of year once again, All Hallows Eve. Traditionally, we have two Halloween-themed articles, one for the week before Halloween (a minor Halloween toon or something Halloween-related) and one for the week during Halloween (a major Halloween toon). Anyway, for the week before Halloween, I'm thinking of a Puppet thing, Homestar vs. Little Girl 2 (this one even mentions that a Halloween toon would be released later in the week). MHarrington 16:52, 7 August 2010 (UTC)

I'm not saying I'm in favor of doing three weeks, but if we did do it, then we would have to do the Fan Costumes series. Okay, I'm done. I think we should do an article on the On Point Kings before the year ends. MHarrington 18:32, 12 August 2010 (UTC)

I'd say it's a good choice of article; lots of info about a fairly obscure group. I think it'll get into the queue sometime, after Halloween is a strong possibility. Incidentally, there's some discussion on the talk page for this page about how to decide the order of the queue.

How about That-a-Ghost instead? And since there are hundreds of Ween-themed articles on this wiki, how about one the week after Ween as well? RickTommy [/wiki/Special:Contributions/RickTommy (edits)] 08:33, 8 August 2010 (UTC)

I'm not saying I'm in favor of doing three weeks, but if we did do it, then we would have to do the Fan Costumes series. Okay, I'm done. I'd hold off on doing dailies for a while. The general rule is for there to be at least 6 month spacing between sets of dailies, and it would only be 5 since our last, if this would be done. We have a lot of suggestions, so maybe we could do a Halloween daily? Has that been done before? doctorwho295 17 August 2010
A series of dailies? No, that hasn't been done, but I also don't really think it should be. Halloween toons are some of the largest on the site, and they pretty much all deserve a full week, I think. Heimstern Läufer https://web.archive.org/web/20211001000000im_/http://www.hrwiki.org/w/images/thumb/0/08/heimstern101.gif/20px-heimstern101.gif 21:16, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
I agree that we should stick to a week-long feature on Halloween. A daily the week before might not be a bad idea, though. And even without the issue of the H'we'en articles being too important for a daily, there is also the fact that there are always six of them available at a time (less if we don't see a new one this year), making a daily impossible. On Point Kings

Done HRWiki:Featured article for 2010, week 41 (Oct 11–17)

I think we should do an article on the On Point Kings before the year ends. MHarrington 18:32, 12 August 2010 (UTC)

I'd say it's a good choice of article; lots of info about a fairly obscure group. I think it'll get into the queue sometime, after Halloween is a strong possibility. Incidentally, there's some discussion on the talk page for this page about how to decide the order of the queue. Heimstern Läufer 01:37, 15 August 2010 (UTC)
It really doesn't matter when it will be in the queue. But anyway, support. 121.214.45.225 06:10, 24 August 2010 (UTC) (RickTommy)

Week before Halloween 2010 (Oct 18-24)

Done HRWiki:Featured article for 2010, week 42 (Oct 18–24)

It will soon be that time of year once again, All Hallows Eve. Traditionally, we have two Halloween-themed articles, one for the week before Halloween (a minor Halloween toon or something Halloween-related) and one for the week during Halloween (a major Halloween toon). Anyway, for the week before Halloween, I'm thinking of a Puppet thing, Homestar vs. Little Girl 2 (this one even mentions that a Halloween toon would be released later in the week). MHarrington 16:52, 7 August 2010 (UTC)

How about That-a-Ghost instead? And since there are hundreds of Ween-themed articles on this wiki, how about one the week after Ween as well? RickTommy (edits) 08:33, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
I don't think we should do more than two. It'd be just too much of an awesome thing. Heimstern Läufer 21:33, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
I'm not saying I'm in favor of doing three weeks, but if we did do it, then we would have to do the Fan Costumes series. Okay, I'm done. And as for the week before Halloween, I think we've just done Parsnips A-Plenty recently. How long has it been since we've done a Puppet Stuff toon? MHarrington 04:39, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
I support featuring That-A-Ghost. --Power Pie 12:02, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
I agree with MHarrington - 1 vote for the Puppet Thingy. (That Anonny Guy)--79.221.32.92 10:03, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
Would it be too soon to do a set of dailies the week before Halloween? PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie
No, but as per tradition, we usually have one thing going before the week. Maybe after Halloween? MHarrington 16:37, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
I was thinking we could have Halloween-themed dailies. PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie 21:01, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
I'd hold off on doing dailies for a while. The general rule is for there to be at least 6 month spacing between sets of dailies, and it would only be 5 since our last, if this would be done. StrongAwesome 22:25, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
It's the month of. Should we do Homestar vs. Little Girl 2? PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie 20:14, 3 October 2010 (UTC)
We need to decide what our move is. Any other opinions out there? doctorwho295 3 October 2010
I say we do Homestar vs. Little Girl 2. MHarrington 05:57, 8 October 2010 (UTC)
I'd go for either halloweener or Marzipan's Answering Machine Version 7.0, or TAG as I said above. RickTommy (edits) 07:46, 8 October 2010 (UTC)

Week of Halloween 2010 (Oct 25-31)

Done HRWiki:Featured article for 2010, week 43 (Oct 25–31)

For the week during Halloween, I'm thinking Happy Hallow-day. It's so different from anything else. MHarrington 16:52, 7 August 2010 (UTC)

I'd like to see either 3 Times Halloween Funjob or Jibblies 2 instead. RickTommy (edits) 08:33, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
Hmm..... have we done Most in the Graveyard yet? I support the Happy Hallow-day idea too, just throwing in another idea if anyone wants it. doctorwho295 8 August 2010
Doomy Tales of The Macabre, perhaps? --PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie
I wouldn't do something so recent. Jibblies 2 or something older would have my vote. (That Anonny Guy)--79.221.32.92 10:06, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
Heimstern Läufer 21:16, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
I agree that we should stick to a week-long feature on Halloween. A daily the week before might not be a bad idea, though. PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie 01:13, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
And even without the issue of the H'we'en articles being too important for a daily, there is also the fact that there are always six of them available at a time (less if we don't see a new one this year), making a daily impossible. 121.214.45.225 06:10, 24 August 2010 (UTC) (RickTommy)

Some Stupid Turkey. 124.181.68.22 13:17, 7 October 2010 (UTC)

Not a bad idea. I do think we should start thinking about that week. Any suggestions? doctorwho295 9 October 2010
Yeah, we kind of do need to start thinking about that week. As for the suggestion: it looks like all the other Thanksgiving toons have already been featured. So...sure to Some Stupid Turkey for this week. The Knights Who Say Ni 05:44, 1 November 2010 (UTC)

The King of Town's Castle

It appears frequently - it would make a great feature. RickTommy (edits) 05:26, 25 October 2010 (UTC)

I don't think we have featured places very often, besides The Field and maybe The Spooky Woods. We should definitely do this one. doctorwho295 25 October 2010
I think so, too. PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie 00:43, 13 November 2010 (UTC)

I agree! (That Anonny Guy) --93.207.90.240 12:55, 26 October 2010 (UTC)
You call that a consensus? i don't see any problem in putting this up for a delay to consider Doctorwho295's request. Though i do agree that it could be featured at some point in the near future. (after considering his request) as a matter of fact, we might not have to delay this. it could be done in the week it is currently proposed for. The Knights Who Say Ni 23:18, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
