<p>I know I'd probably the last person to propose such a thing, but how about a week of <a href="/index.php?title=Category:DVD_Exclusive" title="Category:DVD Exclusive">DVD exclusive toons</a>.  <a class="mw-redirect" href="/index.php?title=Real_Live_E-Mails" title="Real Live E-Mails">Real Live E-Mail</a> and <a href="/index.php?title=Tis_True%2C_Pom_Pom%2C_Tis_True" title="Tis True, Pom Pom, Tis True">Tis True, Pom Pom, Tis True</a> are the only ones of that category that have been featured, and as a class should have a little more attention to them.  How about: <a href="/index.php?title=Greeting_Cards" title="Greeting Cards">Greeting Cards</a>, <a href="/index.php?title=Puppets_on_the_Road" title="Puppets on the Road">Puppets On The Road</a>, <a href="/index.php?title=Sample_of_Style" title="Sample of Style">Sample Of Style</a>, <a href="/index.php?title=Blue_Laserdisc_Challenge" title="Blue Laserdisc Challenge">Blue Laserdisc Challenge</a>, <a href="/index.php?title=Accent" title="Accent">Accent</a>, <a href="/index.php?title=Where%27s_The_Cheat%3F_%28game%29" title="Where's The Cheat? <dl><dd>I'm be fine with ghosts; let's save halloweener for now. But, if we don't have the HRWiki Halloween theme up and running for that week, I'd like to nominate <a href="/index.php?title=Pistols_for_Pandas" title="Pistols for Pandas">Pistols for Pandas</a> (PfP, I'll just say) in reference to our struggling fund-raising drive (and the clever excerpt from it on <a href="/index.php?title=HRWiki:DO_YOU_HAS%3F" title="HRWiki:DO YOU HAS?">HRWiki:DO YOU HAS?</a>). While I don't like it when new toons and such are featured too early (like, "within two years" early), I wouldn't mind it in this case. I would have recommended PfP for week 42 but I didn't have the time. <span style="whitespace:nowrap;">—<b><a href="/index.php?title=User:Soiled_Bargains" title="User:Soiled Bargains"><span style="font-size:8pt;color:#aa4444;">Soiled Bargains</span></a></b> (<a href="/index.php?title=User_talk:Soiled_Bargains" title="User talk:Soiled Bargains">talk</a>|<a href="/index.php?title=Special:Contributions/Soiled_Bargains" title="Special:Contributions/Soiled Bargains">ctrb</a>)</span> 02:43, 12 October 2009 (UTC)

<p>Ween. We usually feature a full-length Halloween toon this week. We've already featured <a href="/index.php?title=Pumpkin_Carve-nival" title="Pumpkin Carve-nival">Pumpkin Carve-nival</a>, <a href="/index.php?title=Homestarloween_Party" title="Homestarloween Party">Homestarloween Party</a> and <a href="/index.php?title=Halloween_Potion-ma-jig" title="Halloween Potion-ma-jig">Halloween Potion-ma-jig</a>, so let's think of a different one. <a href="/index.php?title=User:Heimstern_L%C3%A4ufer" title="User:Heimstern Läufer"><span style="color:#008000">Heimstern Läufer</span></a> <a class="image" href="/index.php?title=File:heimstern101.gif" title="heimstern101.gif"><img alt="" border="0" height="17" src="https://web.archive.org/web/20211001000000im_/http://www.hrwiki.org/w/images/thumb/0/08/heimstern101.gif/20px-heimstern101.gif" width="20"/></a> 20:03, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

<dl><dd>How about <a href="/index.php?title=The_House_That_Gave_Sucky_Treats" title="The House That Gave Sucky Treats">The House That Gave Sucky Treats</a>, my personal favorite. <small>Though I'm not sure how much that matters when choosing FAs...</small> <a href="/index.php?title=User:Free" title="User:Free"><span style="color:#CC2200">free</span></a> 20:09, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
<dl><dd>There are definitely some reasons this toon is noteworthy; for example, it was the first interactive Halloween toon, and it established the trend of Homsar as a secret character in H'ween toons. Also was the last one to feature voting on costumes, and had a sort of <a href="/index.php?title=Halloween_Awards_Show" title="Halloween Awards Show">addendum</a> released five years later. All told, I think this'd make a good FA. <a href="/index.php?title=User:Heimstern_L%C3%A4ufer" title="User:Heimstern Läufer"><span style="color:#008000">Heimstern Läufer</span></a> <a class="image" href="/index.php?title=File:heimstern101.gif" title="heimstern101.gif"><img alt="" border="0" height="17" src="https://web.archive.org/web/20211001000000im_/http://www.hrwiki.org/w/images/thumb/0/08/heimstern101.gif/20px-heimstern101.gif" width="20"/></a> 20:32, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
<dl><dd>Sorry if it seems like I'm being hasty and dismissing your ideas (don't get me wrong, Sucky Treats looks like a good one), but what about <a href="/index.php?title=Jibblies_2" title="Jibblies 2">Jibblies 2</a>? That's a good one, too. A lot of people really like that one. The plot is intense, the characters are off the wall here and it's great. "Sucky Treats", however, doesn't really have much to write up on, short of just the characters coming to the house in question and maybe Homsar being introduced in the Halloween toons here. <a href="/index.php?title=User:MHarrington" title="User:MHarrington">MHarrington</a> 22:36, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
<dl><dd>That's also a good one. Either one could make a fine FA, though Sucky Treats is more historic, and I don't agree that there'd be a problem with writing it up. So, let's hear from others about what we should feature. <a href="/index.php?title=User:Heimstern_L%C3%A4ufer" title="User:Heimstern Läufer"><span style="color:#008000">Heimstern Läufer</span></a> <a class="image" href="/index.php?title=File:heimstern101.gif" title="heimstern101.gif"><img alt="" border="0" height="17" src="https://web.archive.org/web/20211001000000im_/http://www.hrwiki.org/w/images/thumb/0/08/heimstern101.gif/20px-heimstern101.gif" width="20"/></a> 23:20, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
<dl><dd>I'm kinda leaning towards Sucky Treats, myself.  A very pivotal and important toon for many reasons. <a href="/index.php?title=User:Wbwolf" title="User:Wbwolf"><span style="font-family:Courier; color:#666;">wbwolf</span></a> (<a href="/index.php?title=User_talk:Wbwolf" title="User talk:Wbwolf">t</a> | <a href="/index.php?title=Special:Contributions/Wbwolf" title="Special:Contributions/Wbwolf">ed</a>) 00:01, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

<dl><dd>Hey, Espemon. Just to let you know, this isn't really a vote, but a discussion. For that reason, it's important to give a reason for your opinion. <dl><dd>Oh, well in that case, Sucky Treats is the (don't quote me on this) first interactive Halloween cartoon, and the one of the ones where you can vote, plus the first appearance of the coolest character in the Homestar Runner Universe in a Halloween Cartoon, <a href="/index.php?title=Homsar" title="Homsar">HOMSAR</a>!!!!!!!!!!!

<dl><dd>Just a comment: remember we are trying to keep FAS to only 10 weeks ahead.  We've been creeping up lately (and I've been guilty of same). <a href="/index.php?title=User:Wbwolf" title="User:Wbwolf"><span style="font-family:Courier; color:#666;">wbwolf</span></a> (<a href="/index.php?title=User_talk:Wbwolf" title="User talk:Wbwolf">t</a> | <a href="/index.php?title=Special:Contributions/Wbwolf" title="Special:Contributions/Wbwolf">ed</a>) 19:36, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
<dl><dd>Wbwolf's right. We'll go ahead and leave it for now, but let's keep it down to 10 weeks in advance of the current week in the future. Another thing: don't forget that in a discussion, if you propose a new idea after someone else's, you should always respond to the previous one (perhaps giving a reason you think your choice is more suitable). Otherwise, it's not really a discussion, and it's hard to determine where consensus really lies. (Don't forget that this isn't a vote, contrary to what it may seem sometimes.)
</dd><dd>As for my opinion: I do think Arrow'd Guy really deserves a turn in the spotlight, particularly because it's been a while since we've had a TGS-related feature. The other two ideas suggested also look deserving, so I suggest we keep them in mind for the near future. <a href="/index.php?title=User:Heimstern_L%C3%A4ufer" title="User:Heimstern Läufer"><span style="color:#008000">Heimstern Läufer</span></a> <a class="image" href="/index.php?title=File:heimstern101.gif" title="heimstern101.gif"><img alt="" border="0" height="17" src="https://web.archive.org/web/20211001000000im_/http://www.hrwiki.org/w/images/thumb/0/08/heimstern101.gif/20px-heimstern101.gif" width="20"/></a> 09:19, 30 August 2009 (UTC)

</dd><dd>No, he has not been delayed since we featured What's Her Face, as there was only one editor campaigning to feature Arrow'd Guy then. The fact that that editor didn't get what he wanted does not mean that article has been delayed. It's coming exactly on time: When consensus favours it. I.e., this week. <a href="/index.php?title=User:Heimstern_L%C3%A4ufer" title="User:Heimstern Läufer"><span style="color:#008000">Heimstern Läufer</span></a> <a class="image" href="/index.php?title=File:heimstern101.gif" title="heimstern101.gif"><img alt="" border="0" height="17" src="https://web.archive.org/web/20211001000000im_/http://www.hrwiki.org/w/images/thumb/0/08/heimstern101.gif/20px-heimstern101.gif" width="20"/></a> 13:37, 5 September 2009 (UTC)
<dl><dd>What I meant is that, after the time of featuring what's-her-face, the idea of featuring him had been tossed around, but ultimately it was decided he was suited for a later period of time (after featuring The Ugly One, a few weeks after a few issues had been featured, etc.). Perhaps he wasn't <i>delayed</i> for almost a year so much as <i>been taken under consideration</i> for a year, if you want it in politically correct terms, but the point is that there really isn't much sense in putting off a deserving article any longer than it already has. I'm sorry if I came off as sour, Heimstern, but I feel that this article is in dire need of featuring and shouldn't be denied it merely because another TGS-related article had been featured over two months previously. <a href="/index.php?title=User:That_game_dude386" title="User:That game dude386"><span style="color:#F03;">That</span> <span style="color:#FC0;">Game</span> <span style="color:#00C;">Dude</span> <span style="color:#0C0;">386</span></a> <a class="image" href="/index.php?title=File:KOT_crown.PNG" title="KOT crown.PNG"><img alt="" border="0" height="9" src="https://web.archive.org/web/20211001000000im_/http://www.hrwiki.org/w/images/thumb/8/89/KOT_crown.PNG/20px-KOT_crown.PNG" width="20"/></a> 18:44, 6 September 2009 (UTC)
<dl><dd>So far, no one seems to have seriously objected to featuring it this week, despite the relatively short gap between this and the last TGS, so I think we're fine. <b>I'm</b> certainly not going to, since I think TGS is one of the most awesomest things on the site and always like to see more articles about it get featured. <a href="/index.php?title=User:Heimstern_L%C3%A4ufer" title="User:Heimstern Läufer"><span style="color:#008000">Heimstern Läufer</span></a> <a class="image" href="/index.php?title=File:heimstern101.gif" title="heimstern101.gif"><img alt="" border="0" height="17" src="https://web.archive.org/web/20211001000000im_/http://www.hrwiki.org/w/images/thumb/0/08/heimstern101.gif/20px-heimstern101.gif" width="20"/></a> 14:28, 7 September 2009 (UTC)

<dl><dd>What about <a href="/index.php?title=Twenty_THANXty_Six" title="Twenty THANXty Six">Twenty THANXty Six</a>? I have proposed this for four reasons: 1) Some Stupid Turkey is a tad short, whereas 2008's Thanksgiving toon is a bit longer; 2) It's been a long time since we've done <i>anything</i> related to <a href="/index.php?title=20X6" title="20X6">20X6</a>; 3) I think we need to do a toon <i>not</i> from 2001 for once; and 4) We usually do Thanksgiving toons from the previous year (i.e., 2005's <a href="/index.php?title=Fall_Float_Parade" title="Fall Float Parade">Fall Float Parade</a> in 2006, 2006's <a href="/index.php?title=Let_us_give_TANKS%21" title="Let us give TANKS!">Let Us Give Tanks!</a> in 2007, etc.). <a href="/index.php?title=User:MHarrington" title="User:MHarrington">MHarrington</a> 03:09, 17 September 2009 (UTC)
<dl><dd>I should point out that the only reason that we've done the previous year's toon for Thanksgiving is only  because they have become a regular feature in the last few years.  Having said that, though, I have to agree that Some Stupid Turkey is too short, even with the write up, to feature. There's not a whole lot in the <a href="/index.php?title=Category:Thanksgiving" title="Category:Thanksgiving">T'giving category</a>; the only other ones that haven't been featured are <a href="/index.php?title=Happy_T%21" title="Happy T!">Happy T!</a> and <a href="/index.php?title=Limozeen_Thanksgiving_E-Cards" title="Limozeen Thanksgiving E-Cards">Limozeen Thanksgiving E-cards</a>.  <a href="/index.php?title=Happy_T%21" title="Happy T!">Happy T!</a> is also too short, but if we don't do <a href="/index.php?title=Twenty_THANXty_Six" title="Twenty THANXty Six">Twenty THANXty Six</a>, the E-cards might be interesting. <a href="/index.php?title=User:Wbwolf" title="User:Wbwolf"><span style="font-family:Courier; color:#666;">wbwolf</span></a> (<a href="/index.php?title=User_talk:Wbwolf" title="User talk:Wbwolf">t</a> | <a href="/index.php?title=Special:Contributions/Wbwolf" title="Special:Contributions/Wbwolf">ed</a>) 04:31, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
<dl><dd>Well, if they keep adding more T'giving toons, maybe we won't have to worry about running out of T'giving articles. Maybe the E-cards could be shown next week? <a href="/index.php?title=User:MHarrington" title="User:MHarrington">MHarrington</a> 05:18, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
<dl><dd>I don't think we should have two Thanksgiving-themed FAs, especially since we don't have an inexhaustible supply of them. <a href="/index.php?title=User:Heimstern_L%C3%A4ufer" title="User:Heimstern Läufer"><span style="color:#008000">Heimstern Läufer</span></a> <a class="image" href="/index.php?title=File:heimstern101.gif" title="heimstern101.gif"><img alt="" border="0" height="17" src="https://web.archive.org/web/20211001000000im_/http://www.hrwiki.org/w/images/thumb/0/08/heimstern101.gif/20px-heimstern101.gif" width="20"/></a> 05:39, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
<dl><dd>Well, we did have two T'giving-themed FAs last year (the <a href="/index.php?title=colonization" title="colonization">colonization</a> email and <a href="/index.php?title=Toikey_TV" title="Toikey TV">Toikey TV</a>), so I don't know. <a href="/index.php?title=User:MHarrington" title="User:MHarrington">MHarrington</a> 19:50, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
<dl><dd>In retrospect, I don't think that was a good idea and that we should have saved one of those for later. Too late now, but I think we'd best not repeat it this year. <a href="/index.php?title=User:Heimstern_L%C3%A4ufer" title="User:Heimstern Läufer"><span style="color:#008000">Heimstern Läufer</span></a> <a class="image" href="/index.php?title=File:heimstern101.gif" title="heimstern101.gif"><img alt="" border="0" height="17" src="https://web.archive.org/web/20211001000000im_/http://www.hrwiki.org/w/images/thumb/0/08/heimstern101.gif/20px-heimstern101.gif" width="20"/></a> 03:53, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
<dl><dd>Okay, then we won't. It just seemed like a good idea at the time. Anyway, in keeping with how T'giving toons have been articled in the past, I think we should do <a href="/index.php?title=Twenty_THANXty_Six" title="Twenty THANXty Six">Twenty THANXty Six</a> this year. <a href="/index.php?title=User:MHarrington" title="User:MHarrington">MHarrington</a> 05:10, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
<dl><dd>I think that's best, too. There's not a lot of Thanksgiving articles, and this one would clearly make a fine writeup. Stupid Turkey could work in a pinch, like, if we run out of T-giving toons sometime (which we could if TBC take the holiday off a few times), but for now I think we should stick with something more substantial. <a href="/index.php?title=User:Heimstern_L%C3%A4ufer" title="User:Heimstern Läufer"><span style="color:#008000">Heimstern Läufer</span></a> <a class="image" href="/index.php?title=File:heimstern101.gif" title="heimstern101.gif"><img alt="" border="0" height="17" src="https://web.archive.org/web/20211001000000im_/http://www.hrwiki.org/w/images/thumb/0/08/heimstern101.gif/20px-heimstern101.gif" width="20"/></a> 05:16, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
<dl><dd>Yeah, SST can wait. I amm quite partial to <s>Horpy Tor!</s> Happy T!, but I am not really sure about the substance. It really Isn't FA material, because there isn't much to be said! <dl><dd>Actually, it would be carrying on the "tradition" of having the previous year's T'giving toon be articled (i.e., 2005's T'giving toon in 2006, 2006's in 2007 and 2007's in 2008). <a href="/index.php?title=User:MHarrington" title="User:MHarrington">MHarrington</a> 02:44, 25 September 2009 (UTC)

<dl><dd>That is actually a pretty good idea if we can expand it. <dl><dd>Can we decide? It was already put up, but without consensus or anything.
<dl><dd>Consensus was pretty lacking in this case, it's true, but we <b>are</b> running out of time. There was also the arguable conflict of interest here of MHarrington having selected the article he supported as the featured article. Nonetheless, as the situation stands, I would have to call this discussion for the battle of Strong Badia, too. It's the only article suggested thus far that drew no objections: all the others had the problem of being overly brief. If we want to change our minds last-minute, we could change the writeup, but as it is, this is probably the only call we can make. <a href="/index.php?title=User:Heimstern_L%C3%A4ufer" title="User:Heimstern Läufer"><span style="color:#008000">Heimstern Läufer</span></a> <a class="image" href="/index.php?title=File:heimstern101.gif" title="heimstern101.gif"><img alt="" border="0" height="17" src="https://web.archive.org/web/20211001000000im_/http://www.hrwiki.org/w/images/thumb/0/08/heimstern101.gif/20px-heimstern101.gif" width="20"/></a> 02:35, 26 December 2009 (UTC)
</dd><dd>(edit conflict'd!) As it stands, we don't that much more info to expand Jackie's article.  While I agree with IDC that if we to feature her, now would be a good time, I think Battle of Strong Badia should go ahead, and hopefully we can feature her in the near future. <a href="/index.php?title=User:Wbwolf" title="User:Wbwolf"><span style="font-family:Courier; color:#666;">wbwolf</span></a> (<a href="/index.php?title=User_talk:Wbwolf" title="User talk:Wbwolf">t</a> | <a href="/index.php?title=Special:Contributions/Wbwolf" title="Special:Contributions/Wbwolf">ed</a>) 02:37, 26 December 2009 (UTC)

I know I'd probably the last person to propose such a thing, but how about a week of .  Real Live E-Mail and Tis True, Pom Pom, Tis True are the only ones of that category that have been featured, and as a class should have a little more attention to them.  How about: Greeting Cards, Puppets On The Road, Sample Of Style, Blue Laserdisc Challenge, Accent, Where's The Cheat? (game) and Dangeresque: THREE in 3D. wbwolf (t | [/wiki/Special:Contributions/Wbwolf ed]) 01:33, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

Finally, round out the week with Dangeresque: THREE in 3D.  I know it was only recently released, but a) I'd like to have at least one example from each of the discs (SBEmail 1-3 count as one release) and b) it's probably one of the longest H*R toons overall. Sure, we can do that as part of DVD week- but we might want to think about featuring the DVD before doing its exclusives... or maybe doing Dangeresque 3: The Criminal Projective before its spin-offs... but if D3 in 3D is that important to y'alls, I have no problem with featuring it as part of a theme. Heimstern Läufer https://web.archive.org/web/20211001000000im_/http://www.hrwiki.org/w/images/thumb/0/08/heimstern101.gif/20px-heimstern101.gif 20:03, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

How about the email ghosts? MHarrington 22:38, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
Also a good possibility, especially since it will have been a reasonable amount of time since the latest sbemail. We haven't, though I'd prefer ghosts. free 12:50, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
ghosts sounds good. Nice 'n funny, Bad Graphics Ghost, yeah, it'll work.
Bad graphics ghost is good... I like it...
I'm be fine with ghosts; let's save halloweener for now. But, if we don't have the HRWiki Halloween theme up and running for that week, I'd like to nominate Pistols for Pandas (PfP, I'll just say) in reference to our struggling fund-raising drive (and the clever excerpt from it on HRWiki:DO YOU HAS?). While I don't like it when new toons and such are featured too early (like, "within two years" early), I wouldn't mind it in this case. I would have recommended PfP for week 42 but I didn't have the time. —Soiled Bargains (talk|[/wiki/Special:Contributions/Soiled_Bargains ctrb]) 02:43, 12 October 2009 (UTC)

HRWiki:Featured article for 2009, week 44 (Oct 26-Nov 1)
Ween. We usually feature a full-length Halloween toon this week. We've already featured Pumpkin Carve-nival, Homestarloween Party and Halloween Potion-ma-jig, so let's think of a different one. Heimstern Läufer https://web.archive.org/web/20211001000000im_/http://www.hrwiki.org/w/images/thumb/0/08/heimstern101.gif/20px-heimstern101.gif 20:03, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

How about The House That Gave Sucky Treats, my personal favorite. Though I'm not sure how much that matters when choosing FAs... free 20:09, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
There are definitely some reasons this toon is noteworthy; for example, it was the first interactive Halloween toon, and it established the trend of Homsar as a secret character in H'ween toons. Also was the last one to feature voting on costumes, and had a sort of addendum released five years later. All told, I think this'd make a good FA. Heimstern Läufer https://web.archive.org/web/20211001000000im_/http://www.hrwiki.org/w/images/thumb/0/08/heimstern101.gif/20px-heimstern101.gif 20:32, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
Sorry if it seems like I'm being hasty and dismissing your ideas (don't get me wrong, Sucky Treats looks like a good one), but what about Jibblies 2? That's a good one, too. A lot of people really like that one. The plot is intense, the characters are off the wall here and it's great. "Sucky Treats", however, doesn't really have much to write up on, short of just the characters coming to the house in question and maybe Homsar being introduced in the Halloween toons here. MHarrington 22:36, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
That's also a good one. Either one could make a fine FA, though Sucky Treats is more historic, and I don't agree that there'd be a problem with writing it up. So, let's hear from others about what we should feature. Heimstern Läufer https://web.archive.org/web/20211001000000im_/http://www.hrwiki.org/w/images/thumb/0/08/heimstern101.gif/20px-heimstern101.gif 23:20, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
I'm kinda leaning towards Sucky Treats, myself.  A very pivotal and important toon for many reasons. wbwolf (t | [/wiki/Special:Contributions/Wbwolf ed]) 00:01, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

Oh, well in that case, Sucky Treats is the (don't quote me on this) first interactive Halloween cartoon, and the one of the ones where you can vote, plus the first appearance of the coolest character in the Homestar Runner Universe in a Halloween Cartoon, HOMSAR!!!!!!!!!!!

Dangerdesque is a bit too recent to be featured IMO. We have not shown Monosodium Dreams or The Movie Theater yet, so why don't we do them in the near future? We could do one next week and then the next one two weeks later, since the week before that is Thanksgiving and I have an idea in mind for that one already. MHarrington 16:02, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
Just a comment: remember we are trying to keep FAS to only 10 weeks ahead.  We've been creeping up lately (and I've been guilty of same). wbwolf (t | [/wiki/Special:Contributions/Wbwolf ed]) 19:36, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
Wbwolf's right.
As for my opinion: I do think Arrow'd Guy really deserves a turn in the spotlight, particularly because it's been a while since we've had a TGS-related feature. The other two ideas suggested also look deserving, so I suggest we keep them in mind for the near future. Okay. Seems good. cash money t[/wiki/Special:Contributions/Cash_Money c] 16:18, 4 September 2009 (UTC)
No, he has not been delayed since we featured What's Her Face, as there was only one editor campaigning to feature Arrow'd Guy then. The fact that that editor didn't get what he wanted does not mean that article has been delayed. It's coming exactly on time: When consensus favours it. I.e., this week. Heimstern Läufer https://web.archive.org/web/20211001000000im_/http://www.hrwiki.org/w/images/thumb/0/08/heimstern101.gif/20px-heimstern101.gif 13:37, 5 September 2009 (UTC)
What I meant is that, after the time of featuring what's-her-face, the idea of featuring him had been tossed around, but ultimately it was decided he was suited for a later period of time (after featuring The Ugly One, a few weeks after a few issues had been featured, etc.). Perhaps he wasn't delayed for almost a year so much as been taken under consideration for a year, if you want it in politically correct terms, but the point is that there really isn't much sense in putting off a deserving article any longer than it already has. I'm sorry if I came off as sour, Heimstern, but I feel that this article is in dire need of featuring and shouldn't be denied it merely because another TGS-related article had been featured over two months previously. That Game Dude 386 https://web.archive.org/web/20211001000000im_/http://www.hrwiki.org/w/images/thumb/8/89/KOT_crown.PNG/20px-KOT_crown.PNG 18:44, 6 September 2009 (UTC)
So far, no one seems to have seriously objected to featuring it this week, despite the relatively short gap between this and the last TGS, so I think we're fine. I'm certainly not going to, since I think TGS is one of the most awesomest things on the site and always like to see more articles about it get featured. Strong Bad starts this toon with him dressed as a turkey, and begins to sing a Thanksgiving song about a turkey. The song ends with a few of the main characters singing "Go and suck your thumb". I have proposed this for four reasons: 1) Some Stupid Turkey is a tad short, whereas 2008's Thanksgiving toon is a bit longer; 2) It's been a long time since we've done anything related to 20X6; 3) I think we need to do a toon not from 2001 for once; and 4) We usually do Thanksgiving toons from the previous year (i.e., 2005's Fall Float Parade in 2006, 2006's Let Us Give Tanks! in 2007, etc.). MHarrington 03:09, 17 September 2009 (UTC)
I should point out that the only reason that we've done the previous year's toon for Thanksgiving is only  because they have become a regular feature in the last few years.  Having said that, though, I have to agree that Some Stupid Turkey is too short, even with the write up, to feature. There's not a whole lot in the ; the only other ones that haven't been featured are Happy T! and Limozeen Thanksgiving E-cards.  Happy T! is also too short, but if we don't do Twenty THANXty Six, the E-cards might be interesting. wbwolf (t | [/wiki/Special:Contributions/Wbwolf ed]) 04:31, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
Well, if they keep adding more T'giving toons, maybe we won't have to worry about running out of T'giving articles. Maybe the E-cards could be shown next week? MHarrington 05:18, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
I don't think we should have two Thanksgiving-themed FAs, especially since we don't have an inexhaustible supply of them. Heimstern Läufer https://web.archive.org/web/20211001000000im_/http://www.hrwiki.org/w/images/thumb/0/08/heimstern101.gif/20px-heimstern101.gif 05:39, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
Well, we did have two T'giving-themed FAs last year (the colonization email and Toikey TV), so I don't know. MHarrington 19:50, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
In retrospect, I don't think that was a good idea and that we should have saved one of those for later. Too late now, but I think we'd best not repeat it this year. Heimstern Läufer https://web.archive.org/web/20211001000000im_/http://www.hrwiki.org/w/images/thumb/0/08/heimstern101.gif/20px-heimstern101.gif 03:53, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
Okay, then we won't. It just seemed like a good idea at the time. Anyway, in keeping with how T'giving toons have been articled in the past, I think we should do Twenty THANXty Six this year. MHarrington 05:10, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
I think that's best, too. There's not a lot of Thanksgiving articles, and this one would clearly make a fine writeup. Stupid Turkey could work in a pinch, like, if we run out of T-giving toons sometime (which we could if TBC take the holiday off a few times), but for now I think we should stick with something more substantial. Heimstern Läufer https://web.archive.org/web/20211001000000im_/http://www.hrwiki.org/w/images/thumb/0/08/heimstern101.gif/20px-heimstern101.gif 05:16, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, SST can wait. I amm quite partial to Horpy Tor! Happy T!, but I am not really sure about the substance. It really Isn't FA material, because there isn't much to be said! Limozeen or THANKSty would work, but THANKSty could be a bit too soon. Actually, it would be carrying on the "tradition" of having the previous year's T'giving toon be articled (i.e., 2005's T'giving toon in 2006, 2006's in 2007 and 2007's in 2008). MHarrington 02:44, 25 September 2009 (UTC)

That might be best. It would be possible to feature HR.com for the whole week, but I'm not sure that's a good idea, despite its fitting the date. I think it might be better to have homestarrunner.com or Timeline of Homestar Runner as the FA for this week, since the 6th is the 10 year anniversary of the site.  I do wonder, given TBC's tendencies to make 10th [[Where My Hat Is At? Can we decide? It was already put up, but without consensus or anything.
Consensus was pretty lacking in this case, it's true, but we are running out of time. HRWiki:Featured article for 2009, week 41 (Oct 5-11)

For this week, how about trying again to do Teen Girl Squad Issue 13? MHarrington 14:44, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

Grood idea. We haven't done anything TGS-related ever since...The Ugly One? Yes, we need to do this. free 12:49, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
Actually, let's have The Stick for this week, and then bump TGS13 up to week 39. That'll better space out the types of articles featured. wbwolf (t | ed) 15:24, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
Sounds good to me. MHarrington 17:28, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
The Stick zounds Fine. It sounds finer then fine. It sounds finer than that fine they give you give you on new releases at the videro store.-Espe Pwnage 03:28, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

HRWiki:Featured article for 2009, week 42 (Oct 12-18)

I know I'd probably the last person to propose such a thing, but how about a week of DVD exclusive toons. (game) and Dangeresque: THREE in 3D. wbwolf (t | ed) 01:33, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

I know for a fact that we need to to do SOMETHING dailies-related eventually. I never thought of this, though. I guess I'm game. MHarrington 15:44, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
Can we put 160 Seconds in there? It sounds cool. free 23:26, 9 August 2009 (UTC)

Now that it has been tentatively agreed to do weeklies, how about figuring out their order. I propose that we start off with Greeting Cards, the first DVD exclusive Strong Bad Email wbwolf (t | ed) 20:29, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

HRWiki:Featured article for 2009, week 42, day 3

Sample Of Style A lot of fun with Matt & Mike just goofing around. wbwolf (t | ed) 20:29, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

Except Puppets On The Road (which is on SBEmail Disc 4) came after Sample of Style (Disc 3), which is on day two, so why don't we switch days with that one here? MHarrington 17:49, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
I'm game for that. wbwolf (t | ed) 18:04, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

I'm not real happy about Blue Laserdisc Challenge here. I'm not sure if The Limozeen Advantage or Why Come Only One Girl? should be featured due to various issues. Any ideas? wbwolf (t | ed) 20:29, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

I'd like to see "Why Come...". MHarrington 06:17, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
I'm not amenable to us drawing any more attention to that article until such a time (if any) that it's unprotected. Heimstern Läufer 19:47, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
I think Blue Laserdisc Challenge could be made to work; we just need to be a bit creative in our writeup. Heimstern Läufer 19:53, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
The Limozeen Advantage needs some major cleaning up. Laserdisc is fine with me, though. free 20:09, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
If we can get Limozeen Advantage cleaned up, we could boot Laserdisc down to the 6 slot. It looks mainly like locations needs to be documented for the article. wbwolf (t | ed) 23:53, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
I think we should do Blue Laserdisc. MHarrington 14:49, 28 September 2009 (UTC)

Where's The Cheat? (game) is probably the weakest. 160 Seconds is interesting, but it's kinda on the short side. I'm trying to stick with longer entries. Thoughts? wbwolf (t | ed) 20:29, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

How about The Limozeen Advantage? We already have something representing SBEmails Disc 5 (on day 5, seen above). MHarrington 17:53, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
Limozeen Advantage is a fine suggestion. Would it better here or swapped for Blue Laserdisc Challenge on day 4? wbwolf (t | ed) 17:59, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
It's better here because it's chronologically correct. MHarrington 18:17, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

Finally, round out the week with Dangeresque: THREE in 3D. I know it was only recently released, but a) I'd like to have at least one example from each of the discs (SBEmail 1-3 count as one release) and b) it's probably one of the longest H*R toons overall. wbwolf (t | ed) 20:29, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

And after all, why not sometimes feature stuff that's very new? Shows how on top of the game we are. Heimstern Läufer 19:51, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
Almost Halloween! This week is our week to feature something Halloween-related other than a full toon. I was thinking maybe Marshie vs. Little Girl if no one has any better ideas. Heimstern Läufer 20:03, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

How about the email ghosts? MHarrington 22:38, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
Also a good possibility, especially since it will have been a reasonable amount of time since the latest sbemail. Heimstern Läufer 00:14, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
Have we already done halloweener? If not, that could be a possibility. cash money tc 01:40, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
Soiled Bargains (talk|ctrb) 02:43, 12 October 2009 (UTC)

Heimstern Läufer 20:03, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

Heimstern Läufer 20:32, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
Heimstern Läufer 23:20, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
I'm kinda leaning towards Sucky Treats, myself. A very pivotal and important toon for many reasons. wbwolf (t | ed) 00:01, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
Sucky Treats. -Espemon333
Hey, Espemon. Just to let you know, this isn't really a vote, but a discussion. For that reason, it's important to give a reason for your opinion. Thanks. Heimstern Läufer 01:29, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
Actually, Homsar first appeared in the homsar email. Sorry, just making a little observation there. MHarrington 14:40, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
Oops. I meant in a Halloween Cartoon. Sorry. -Espe Pwnage 16:08, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
Actually, Sucky Treats is the first one where he stops making sense, he talked normally in MAM 5.0 and homsar. free 19:13, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
my vote is for 3 Times Halloween Funjob because it was in my oppinion the best! Plus it holds the record for the most easter eggs--safariventureman 00:50, 6 October 2009 (UTC)
So... what is the current consensus? It seems all over the place at this point... Espemon333 00:34, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
I think most of the people here want to do The House That Gave Sucky Treats. MHarrington 16:10, 19 October 2009 (UTC)

HRWiki:Featured article for 2009, week 45 (Nov 2-8)

For this week, we should do something we have not done in a long time: a game. I'm thinking maybe Kid Speedy. MHarrington 21:57, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

Already been featured. Though I would like to see a game get featured. Maybe Dangeresque Roomisode 1: Behind the Dangerdesque. free 22:54, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
If you want to do an older game, Awexome Cross would be fine candidate. I think I prefer that to Dangerdesque. wbwolf (t | ed) 23:44, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
Dangerdesque is a bit too recent to be featured IMO. Awexome Cross, Pop:Tire, or Duck Guardian One would be excellent candidates for a game feature. --Mario2.PNG Super Martyo boing! 00:02, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
I wouldn't mind Awexome Cross. Espemon333 00:20, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
Oh, dear, I had forgotten about Kid Speedy already being used. Sure, we can do Awexome Cross, I guess. MHarrington 00:40, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
I disagree with Dangeresque being too new. By the time November comes around, it should be about a year old and Videlectrix will have made another Roomisode. But I see why you guys want to feature "older" games. I'd like to see Pop:Tire or Awexome. free 11:18, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
Well, what if (not right now, of course, but sometime down the line) the next set of dailies for a week was all Dangeresque-themed and we included this into the proceedings? MHarrington 17:09, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
Good idea, MHarrington! Espemon333 14:24, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
If we are going to do an old game for that week, maybe we should do Awexome Cross. By November 2-8, it will be exactly six years and nine months old. That'sBupkis! 16:07, 4 September 2009 (UTC)

For this week, we should do another Teen Girl Squad character, one who is a staple of the series: Arrow'd Guy! MHarrington 17:24, 28 August 2009 (UTC)

I was thinking about doing the Monosodium Dreams, assuming we haven't already done it. Espemon333 14:23, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
What about The movie theater... The battle of Strong Badia is also a good one... cash money tc 15:23, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
We've been creeping up lately (and I've been guilty of same). wbwolf (t | ed) 19:36, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
Wbwolf's right.
As for my opinion: I do think Arrow'd Guy really deserves a turn in the spotlight, particularly because it's been a while since we've had a TGS-related feature. The other two ideas suggested also look deserving, so I suggest we keep them in mind for the near future. Heimstern Läufer 09:19, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
But wait, wouldn't we have just done TGS 13 for week 39? The Wheelchair 01:36, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
Yes, but that doesn't mean that something like this can't be done for a long time if that's what we go with then. MHarrington 14:47, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
Well we did do TGS 13, But Arrow'd Guy works for me. Monosodium, your time to shine comes soon. Espemon333 01:45, 2 September 2009 (UTC)
I'd forgotten we had TGS 13 on the queue. Oh well, I stand corrected. It's still not going to be a problem to do Arrow'd guy this week, though we could delay him if people want to spread out TGS a bit. Heimstern Läufer 03:06, 2 September 2009 (UTC)
No, Arrow'd Guy's been delayed ever since we featured Whats-Her-Face. I think he's waited long enough. Let's do him this week. That Game Dude 386 14:43, 2 September 2009 (UTC)
Okay. Seems good. cash money tc 16:18, 4 September 2009 (UTC)
No, he has not been delayed since we featured What's Her Face, as there was only one editor campaigning to feature Arrow'd Guy then. The fact that that editor didn't get what he wanted does not mean that article has been delayed. It's coming exactly on time: When consensus favours it. I.e., this week. Heimstern Läufer 13:37, 5 September 2009 (UTC)
That Game Dude 386 18:44, 6 September 2009 (UTC)
So far, no one seems to have seriously objected to featuring it this week, despite the relatively short gap between this and the last TGS, so I think we're fine. I'm certainly not going to, since I think TGS is one of the most awesomest things on the site and always like to see more articles about it get featured. Heimstern Läufer 14:28, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
Does anyone oppose to French Fries? Espemon333 15:46, 12 September 2009 (UTC)
Well I think we should change this one to next week, and do monosodium this week, so we can better space out the articles. Espemon333 23:39, 2 October 2009 (UTC)

This week, it's time for a cop-out that was responsible for more confusion than almost any toon before it: Sbemailiarized! That Game Dude 386 14:24, 7 September 2009 (UTC)

While an interesting article, I think it'd be more suitable for April Fools Day, since it was the basis for 2009's April Fool joke. I think we'd need to mention that in the writeup, and that that'd look kind of out-of-place right before Thanksgiving. Heimstern Läufer 14:43, 7 September 2009 (UTC)

Since it's Thanksgiving week, I suggest the we feature original Thanksgiving toon.... Some Stupid Turkey! The Wheelchair 22:40, 16 September 2009 (UTC)

It's historic, but it's a bit short; I'm not sure we could get a decent writeup out of it. Heimstern Läufer 23:30, 16 September 2009 (UTC)
Here is a writeup I made for this week's featured article:
Some Stupid Turkey

Some Stupid Turkey is Homestar Runner's first Thanksgiving toon that was released on Tuesday, November 27, 2001. Strong Bad starts this toon with him dressed as a turkey, and begins to sing a Thanksgiving song about a turkey. The song ends with a few of the main characters singing "Go and suck your thumb". Homestar Runner then says to let them go and partake of their wonderous feast, only to find that it was eaten by The King of Town. (more...)

I hope this helps. Also, if this is used, replace the Image placement with a Featured Article template. I didn't use that, as this is not a featured article yet. That'sBupkis! 00:07, 17 September 2009 (UTC)
What about Twenty THANXty Six?
There's not a whole lot in the T'giving category; the only other ones that haven't been featured are Happy T! and Limozeen Thanksgiving E-cards. Happy T! is also too short, but if we don't do Twenty THANXty Six, the E-cards might be interesting. wbwolf (t | ed) 04:31, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
Heimstern Läufer 05:39, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
Heimstern Läufer 03:53, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
Heimstern Läufer 05:16, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, SST can wait. I amm quite partial to Horpy Tor! Happy T!, but I am not really sure about the substance. It really Isn't FA material, because there isn't much to be said! Limozeen or THANKSty would work, but THANKSty could be a bit too soon. Espemon333 01:11, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
Actually, it would be carrying on the "tradition" of having the previous year's T'giving toon be articled (i.e., 2005's T'giving toon in 2006, 2006's in 2007 and 2007's in 2008). MHarrington 02:44, 25 September 2009 (UTC)

HRWiki:Featured article for 2009, week 49 (Nov 30-Dec 6)

For this week, let's do one that seems to have gotten a lot of attention: The Movie Theater. MHarrington 18:18, 27 September 2009 (UTC)

Well it does have a good intro and a decent amount of appearances, so it sounds good, but for reasons untold, can simone produce a write up for me? Espemon333 18:25, 27 September 2009 (UTC)
The movie theater

The movie theater is where movies are watched, sometimes by force. Homestar Runner and Pom Pom brought Coach Z here to watch a film about the word "job" in the toon A Jorb Well Done. Along with that, the theater has also shown films such as Women's Penitentiary Bakesale Nightmare, Fists of Knuckles 1-24, Axe Gun: Legends of the Brain Outener, and Pom Pom's Indie film City (comma) State. As revealed in rated, It is one of the few theaters that show triple R-rated movies. The theater is featured prominently in the email the movies, where it is revealed that Senor Cardgage has a job as the ticket-taker. (more)

Here's my write-up. cash money tc 18:42, 27 September 2009 (UTC)

Hey, I just realized that December 6 is the website's 10 birthday! Should we do anything special? Espemon333 01:13, 30 September 2009 (UTC)
homestarrunner.com could work as a website's 10th anniversary FA. I think we should do it only on December 6, and maybe have special decorations on the "This week's/today's featured article." User:Mr Eyeball
Yeah, that sounds great, especially seeing as it is the website's 10th Birthday, and not the body of work's. How would we do it to where it is only 1 day? Espemon333 02:32, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
Good question. How would we? Jc iindyysgvxc 05:18, 26 November 2009 (UTC)
We could in fact feature it for only one day, but what then would we do with the other six days of the week? Heimstern Läufer 06:32, 26 November 2009 (UTC)
Why does it have to be for only one day? MHarrington 06:57, 26 November 2009 (UTC)
I think the idea was to feature it only on the day the website began; however, I'm not convinced that's a good reason. Heimstern Läufer 10:14, 26 November 2009 (UTC)
Then maybe we should go back to the Movie Theater idea, then? Unless someone else can think of something else? MHarrington 16:32, 26 November 2009 (UTC)
That might be best. It would be possible to feature HR.com for the whole week, but I'm not sure that's a good idea, despite its fitting the date. The prose intro is really short, and I'm not sure the rest of the text on the page really is FA material. If we had to choose right now, I'd go with the movie theater. HRWiki:Featured article for 2009, week 50 (Dec 7-13)

For this week, we should do another Cheat Commandos character. I'm thinking Silent Rip. MHarrington 16:44, 28 September 2009 (UTC) I myself was thinking that the Taranchula Black Metal Detector would work. The Wheelchair 00:09, 29 September 2009 (UTC)

First off, I think we are getting WAY too far ahead of ourselves, and second, any particular reason why? Espemon333 01:07, 30 September 2009 (UTC)
Well, it looks like both articles are good, but we haven't done anything Cheat Commandos since I joined the wiki (far as I know) and we did Words I probably said like 2 weeks ago. Silent Rip works for me. Espemon333 01:11, 30 September 2009 (UTC)
I think it might be better to have homestarrunner.com or Timeline of Homestar Runner as the FA for this week, since the 6th is the 10 year anniversary of the site. I do wonder, given TBC's tendencies to make 10th anniversary toons, if they will do something themselves to note the occasion. wbwolf (t | ed) 04:21, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
But the 6th is last week... Espemon333 22:33, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
And I think that the evolution of the website is too list-like to be articled. MHarrington 06:54, 3 November 2009 (UTC)
Since we couldn't agree on anything for the tenth anniversary, for legitimate reasons, I think we should just go back to Silent Rip. As for the Taranchula Black Metal Detector, that one can be done later. That one has some decent text on there. MHarrington 16:21, 4 December 2009 (UTC)

HRWiki:Featured article for 2009, week 51 (Dec 14-20)

It's Decemberween again! It's here, it's here! The week before is a minor article. This would be a good time to take care of the only remaining larger piece of Decemberween In July, Decemberween Sweet Cuppin' Cakes. wbwolf (t | ed) 01:39, 12 October 2009 (UTC)

That would work, but I think we should do Peanuts. cash money tc 02:31, 12 October 2009 (UTC)
What about A Holiday Greeting? Although Peanuts would be good, too, since it's been a bit more expanded and would probably make good article fodder. MHarrington 18:41, 13 October 2009 (UTC)
I like the idea of Peanuts since it's heavily referenced for the Decemberween toons, and I don't think we've featured an article that is one of the influences for TBC yet. wbwolf (t | ed) 15:50, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
Not true. We've done articles on Nintendo and Atari 2600. MHarrington 18:38, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
I don't really count the video game articles as an "influence"; stuff like Disney or The Simpsons or Mystery Science Theater 3000, which are more directly related to their style of humor and animation. Video games, while important, are more of a cultural starting point for them. wbwolf (t | ed) 18:47, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
I guess we should do Peanuts then. MHarrington 17:02, 11 December 2009 (UTC)

HRWiki:Featured article for 2009, week 52 (Dec 21-27)

And in time for Decemberween, why don't we feature a toon that has been overlooked, A Decemberween Pageant. I think that is the last of the "older" D'ween toons that hasn't been featured, and it also provides a lot of the mythology of this holiday 55 days after Halloween. wbwolf (t | ed) 01:39, 12 October 2009 (UTC)

I think The Battle of Strong Badia is a great article. Maybe we should feature that one. MichaelXX2 mail_icon.gif link_icon.gif 21:16, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
You don't understand. For Decemberween, we feature a Decemberween article. It's a fine article, but pick another week to do it. wbwolf (t | ed) 22:03, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
Oh, I didn't notice that that was around Christmas. All right, A Decemberween Pageant sounds just fine. MichaelXX2 mail_icon.gif link_icon.gif 22:08, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
I think that A Decemberween Pageant is a great toon to use and it provides a lot of the back story!--safariventureman 14:36, 20 December 2009 (UTC)

HRWiki:Featured article for 2009, week 53 (Dec 28-Jan 3)

The Field. A place that appears in probably half the cartoons on the site. Jc iindyysgvxc 05:06, 12 October 2009 (UTC)

We're getting too far ahead again. I'll keep this one up, but please stay within 10 weeks in the future. Heimstern Läufer 05:08, 12 October 2009 (UTC)
And it's far too short, still. MHarrington 15:46, 12 October 2009 (UTC)
I wonder if it might be expandable. It most certainly is too short (prose-wise) at this point, but it's also certainly an important place. It's something to consider, at least. Heimstern Läufer 01:54, 13 October 2009 (UTC)
I think that if we can't get the prose we want from the field, then we should try doing the Dangeresque dailies this week. As mentioned before. Espemon333 00:40, 16 October 2009 (UTC)
I don't think we should do another set of dailies so soon after the ones we did last week (as of post time). Heimstern Läufer 04:24, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
I would like to do another set very soon, though. MHarrington 16:12, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
Well there IS a 12 week difference... up to concensus though... Espemon333 22:04, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
Well If concensus says no to the dailies and the field, we could do the Battle of Strong Badia. Espemon333 22:16, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
I would like to see the Battle of Strong Badia. MHarrington 16:48, 14 December 2009 (UTC)
What about something appropriate for the start of the year? homestarrunner.com was dismissed for December 6th, the date the website started, but since January 1 was the date the website opened to the public, how about we do it now? Jc iindyysgvxc 23:49, 14 December 2009 (UTC)
Great idea! homestarrunner.com! That'sBupkis! 00:19, 15 December 2009 (UTC)
Unfortunately, homestarrunner.com does not have much in the way of decent text, just mostly lists here and there. MHarrington 02:59, 15 December 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, that's the reason it was dismissed above. Before we can make it happen, we'd have to address that issue. Heimstern Läufer 03:07, 15 December 2009 (UTC)

Jackie Chapman is mentioned in a couple of sections below, but if she's going to be featured at all, it should be right away, before the baby break is over (since she is, after all, one-third of the reason the baby break is happening). — It's dot com 03:17, 15 December 2009 (UTC)

That is actually a pretty good idea if we can expand it. Right now it really seems a bit too short to me: it's got a fine prose intro, but very little beyond that. Heimstern Läufer 03:24, 15 December 2009 (UTC)
Can we decide? It was already put up, but without consensus or anything.
Consensus was pretty lacking in this case, it's true, but we are running out of time. Heimstern Läufer 02:35, 26 December 2009 (UTC)
(edit conflict'd!) As it stands, we don't that much more info to expand Jackie's article. While I agree with IDC that if we to feature her, now would be a good time, I think Battle of Strong Badia should go ahead, and hopefully we can feature her in the near future. wbwolf (t | ed) 02:37, 26 December 2009 (UTC)
