The King Castlefunny Pencil Moistener is an item that moistens pencils, created for the failed comic strip "The Castlefunnies". This comic tried to creep back into the mainstream with this tool, as readership was low. It was created for the Dry Pencil Scare of '47, and although the scare only lasted for three days, President Truman believed that everyone was going to need one.
